Link woke up to the sound of his alarm clock bleeping out an 8-Bit Song of Time. He crawled out of bed and yawned. Then he remembered. "Oh yeah! Today's the first day back at Super Smash Bro's!" Link had, for once, had a peaceful summer without any quests. As he brushed his teeth and put on his green tunic and hat, he wondered what the other fighters had been up to. He was friends with nearly everyone at Smash Academy (him and Ganondorf even called a truce while they were at Smash) and he hoped they had had a peaceful summer. He rushed out of Kokiri Forest and was about to leave when he heard a voice, "Hey Link! Mind if I ride with you?" He turned round and saw Toon Link smiling at him. Link grinned, "Yeah sure, hop on!" Toon pulled himself up onto Epona, Link's horse. They rushed off to the Smash Kingdom.

Mario woke up and hopped out of bed. He quickly changed and rushed out the door with Luigi close behind. He went to Princess Peach's Castle and knocked on the door. Peach opened the door and immediately wrapped Mario in a tight hug. "Mario, it's so great to see you!" Mario blushed. "You-a-too Peach!" Luigi smirked but his eyes widened when Rosalina walked out with Luma. "Uh-Uh-Hi R-Rosalina!" Rosalina smiled angelically and pulled a very red faced Luigi into a hug, "Hey Luigi, good to see you." Mario saw his brother blushing and quickly intervened. "Hey there's a pipe up there to Smash Kingdom, let's-a-go!" And with that they all went down the pipe. Then a pack of small koopa's and one very big one came towards the pipe. "Okay kids," Bowser said, "We may have a truce with plumber boy and the other's but let's do our best to defeat them in every battle!" This was well received with all of the Koopalings cheering and Bowser Jr shouting "You're the best, dad!" Bowser grinned and they all jumped down the pipe. T

The young man awoke with startled, remembering this was his first ever day at Super Smash Bros. He changed into his clothes and went downstairs. He was greeted by a young woman who kissed him and said "Good morning, sweetheart." "Morning," he replied. "I've packed your sword and spare clothes. And I have a gift for you.." The girl pulled out a sword that was exactly like the one he had wielded three years ago. "Thank you.. so much." He pulled her into a tight hug and kissed her passionately. A little girl and a gigantic man with a gun for an arm came downstairs. "I'll miss you!" the little girl cried. "Hey I'll be back for summer" the man smiled. The man with the gun for the arm simply smirked and said "I'll see you around spiky." "You too Barret." "Goodbye Tifa, Goodbye Marlene." The man put the sword the woman had gave into his sheath and waved a farewell and walked out the door. He was immediately tackled by a teenage girl who started to cry. "I'll miss you so much!" she sniffed. The man hugged her back and said "It's ok Yuffie I'll be back soon." A man with long dark hair and a red cloak walked up and shook his hand. "Take care of yourself." The man smiled and said "You too Vincent." A wolf-like creature then walked up with a robotic cat on his back and said "Be safe out the-" The robotic cat butt in shouting "OCH I'LL MISS YE LADDIE" in a strong accent. The man smiled "Goodbye Nanaki. See ya Cait Sith." Suddenly an airship landed and a middle aged man jumped out. He pulled his cigarette out of his mouth and grinned. "Ready to go?" "Ready." The two men climbed into the airship where the young man's motorcycle was also kept. There'll be challenges but I have to do this for them. Especially her… He thought about his friend Aeris who died three years ago. I won't fail you… I HAVE TO DO MY BEST!
