Author's Note: I got a really good reaction to Escape from Zoom's Lair, so here is another Snowbarry story!
Disclaimer: I wish it was mine. Then the Everyman would have really been Barry...
Spring: Barry took her to a sunny park for their first date. It wasn't anything special, or anything fancy, but to them, it was perfect. Caitlin loved this park. She loved watching the children play on the rusty old play-set; loved seeing young couples enjoying each other's company; loved watching students studying and everyone having a good time.
Caitlin had come to the park with Ronnie, and after his death it made her feel more connected to him. But now Ronnie was gone, and she had Barry. She couldn't ask for anything more.
Their first date consisted of ice-cream, and sitting on swings. They both had a wonderful time, and nothing Cisco could say about them being the most unromantic beings in the universe could stop that.
Summer: The 4th of July was a night to remember. Barry met Caitlin at her apartment, and he then flashed them to a beautiful lake where the fireworks seemed like they were right in front of them. Caitlin never looked more beautiful, in Barry's opinion, in her festive, red, white and blue dress. It also helped that she couldn't stop smiling.
Caitlin was overjoyed by the romance of it all. Fireworks, a private place, Barry Allen. What more could a girl need? That was until he took her in his arms, and whispered in her ear that he loved her. Then it was truly perfect.
Fall: Crunching though brightly colored, fallen leaves is the last place that Barry would have thought to propose. But it kind of just... worked. Caitlin's smile, and the light catching her hair and making it glow like a goddesses. They had their fingers loosely intertwined, and, most uncommon of all, there were no metahumans attacking.
So, when she stopped to take a picture of an especially bright leaf, he got down on one knee, pulled out the the small, black box he always carried, and waited. She didn't notice at first, trying to figure out if the light was right, and biting her lip in a way that made him fall in love with her even more, if that was possible.
Then Caitlin turned. Then she saw him. Then she heard his words, smooth and happy and loving and beautiful. And she kissed him and laughed with pure joy and, best of all, accepted.
Winter: Barry wasn't sure if having the wedding in winter was the best idea. A lot had happened with past relationships and winter, but Caitlin said it just made it more meaningful. And there was, of course, the fact that they wanted to get married as soon as possible, and with wedding planning and all that other madness, it was the soonest date they could get scheduled.
When Caitlin walked up the aisle, Barry actually forgot to breath. She was more beautiful then the glistening snow around them, more lovely that any sunset or sunrise. She was like the sun itself, glowing and shimmering in her white dress in what seemed to him an unearthly way.
The priest before them said what he needed to, then they pulled out their own vows. The words were sweet and caring, but Barry knew that no words could cover what he was feeling. He felt like he could fly, like he could save the universe time and time again if only Caitlin was by his side, lighting up his life with her smiles.
Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, they were side by side. Happy, and in love, and, most importantly, together. Always together.
Author's Note: So, I hope that wasn't too sappy. REVEIW!
