Rose Weasley was spending her first week of Christmas break along with her brother and cousins; Hugo Weasley, Fred Weasley, Roxanne Weasley, Lily Luna Potter, Albus Potter and James Potter.
It was a very cold night, and the girls Gryffindor dorm even even colder then the rest of the castle, since someone had accidentally broken a window, and they had only noticed in the middle of the night when they woke up because of the cold. Rose was awaken by the cold, and the noise of her own shivering. She got out of bed, and wondered out of the girls dorm, into the dark ahead.
"Scorpius?" Rose said into the darkness of the seventh years boy's Gryffindor dorm.
"Scorp? Are you awake?" She whispered, casting a quick glance at Albus. It was around 2am, and Rose was freezing. She tugged at the bottom of Scorp's old quidditch shirt, which she was wearing to bed.
She heard a tired and silent moan from Scorpius's direction.
"Scorp?" she murmered as she walked closer to his bed.
"Huh?" he said in a sleepy and confused voice, "What's wrong?"
"I couldn't sleep.. I was wondering if I could come and stay with you?" She blusheed and looked at the floor sheepishly.
She tugged again at the end of Scorp's quidditch shirt, hiding her upper legs. She was wearing his old shirt for around 2 months, now. Since they got really close, she had been wearing his clothes frequently... Thoughts started streaming her mind; What if he didn't want her there? What if Albus woke up? What if Albus told her Dad?! She didn't have to worry about his other roommates, it was Christmas holidays, the others had gone home to their families. The Potters and the Weasley's had to stay at Hogwarts for the first week of break. And Scorpius, he usually stayed at Hogwarts or went to the Potters house every year.
He was still half asleep and answered in a tired and slow moan "Okay.. Sure." he lifted the covers and mumbled sleepily "Come on in."
"Thanks." she said grinning, slipping in next to him cozily.
He felt her cold skin touching his "Hey," Scorpius said, finally waking up completely into reality "What if your cousin sees us?" he said a bit clearer than before.
"He sleeps like a log," she said plainly and yawned "Snuggle Scorp, it's cold." she said as she lightly pecked his cheek.
Scorpius lay back-down on the bed, with Roses head rested on his chest. He wondered why she was here with him, and not with her friends or cousins. Was he special? He thought. They had become pretty close friends, but he didn't know she liked him like this. His thoughts slowly drifted off as he fell asleep.
