Here's a one shot I just decided to make, to make up for me not updating so much. I hope you guys enjoy, and make sure to check out my other stories. Review and tell me what you think of this :)
I lean my body back as my legs swing out. I take a deep breath and let it out with a happy sigh. I open my eyes and look out at the white fluffy clouds, standing out through the delicate blue sky. I count out the shapes I find and stare in awe. I reach out and grasp the top of the two metal chains and look over at Bree. I smile at the way she admires the clouds, her top row of teeth showing, a small curve on the corners of her lips, yet no movement is shown on her cheeks or under her eyes. For most people it would look like a grimace, but on her it showed true bliss. Her wavy brown hair blows as if it were flying away, but then flutters back as if retreating home. Her tiny feet swing up in a pattern-like movement, clamped together, as she cuts through the wind, her legs fly up as her head swings down, her looking as if it were going to reach down and touch the sharp wood-chips, then swooping up at the last second with a silent sigh. Beauty. I love her, I just wonder if she feels the same.
I snap out my trance as Bree flies off the swing and into the air. In slow motion, I watch her hair rise, her eyes close, and her body fly over the wood-chipped area and land perfectly onto the grass. She lands on her back, her arms under her head, her feet crossed, looking as if she were lying on the beach. She looks up at me with her big brown eyes, which could compare to a beautiful gemstone amber when the sun hits it just right. My insides melt at her smirk as she raises her eyebrows in a 'your turn' gesture. Shes so competitive and athletic, and I love it. Me? I can barely walk without tripping, yet, I subconsciously nod, and in one motion, jump without a second thought.
I jump high as if flying to the heavens, the world pausing in slow motion as I watch the grass sway with a nice breeze that tickles my arms, the trees waving 'Hello' as I stare at them. Then I fall. Not like a scary, sky-diving like fall, a free-fall, as the sky lets go of my arms and gently hands me back to Earth. I land with a small 'thud' as the grass cushions my landing. Bree listens to me with a chuckle as I land and join her, her adorable laugh possess me. We both laugh for minutes, almost in tears, over I don't know what. But that doesn't matter to me. What matters, is her. And me. Laying here. At this place. At this time. In this world. And nothing can compare to a moment like this.
I hope you liked it, sorry if you didn't. It was just something small. Review your thoughts please, it would mean a lot :)
