A New Kind Of Fear
Summary: The Creeper Gets a new Weapon that Helps him Instill more Fear
The young woman whimpered in fear as she pressed herself up against the back wall of her bedroom as she watched the horrific scene on the floor of the bedroom.
For on the floor of the bedroom, the woman's husband's body laid in a pool of crimson blood that was staining the carpet, his body twitching as a dark figure was hunched over the body eating the man's lungs, and vocal cords.
"Ahh that's better" the figure said as he rose to his feet licking his lips.
The Figure turned to the woman, flashed his razor sharp teeth in a grin, before asking, "Are you gonna want that"? he asked, pointing to the white sheet that covered the bed
The woman shook her head, and the figure grinned before grabbing the sheet and wrapping it around the body of her late husband.
Once the body was wrapped tightly, the figure stood up, grinned at the woman, before saying "Be seeing you" before two large wings unfurled from his back and he jumped up, flying thru the roof the house carrying the sheet wrapped body.
A couple days passed and the Creeper was in his workshop, working on a new body.
He had just finished using his chemicals that would preserve the body, when his instincts took over.
Grumbling slightly, The Creeper paused in his work, before grabbing some weapons, his coat, and hat, before taking flight out of his workshop.
After a few days of hunting, The Creeper was for the first time in his life, growing bored. Now don't get him wrong, He loved doing what he did, He was basically immortal, but he grew tired of using the same weapons every 23 years.
Little did he know, that a few days before he was set to go back to sleep for another 23 years, He would find a new weapon to help him instill fear with.
Meanwhile, Miles and miles above the earth's surface, the Green Lantern Corps were battling the newly formed Sinestro Corps.
The Sinestro Corps were named after the renegade Green Lantern, Thaal Sinestro. Unlike willpower, The Sinestro corps used the power of Fear, to power their yellow power rings.
At the moment, Amon Sir the Sinestro corp member of sector 2814 died, and his ring began to search the sector looking for a replacement.
For the first time in his life, The Creeper looked up at the sky, as he did, he saw streaks of green and yellow.
The Creeper shook his head before he took flight, looking for people to hunt.
Meanwhile Amon Sir's ring started to circle earth, for it could not find any suitable replacements on any of the other inhabited planets that was in the sector.
The Creeper grinned to himself as screams of terror filled his ears, for he had just crippled a school bus of high school track and fielders.
The metal bus doors were no match for him as he easily pulled them off if they were made of cardboard.
Once he was on the bus, The Creeper began sniffing out who it wanted.
The Creeper quickly found out who we wanted, before he went and killed the bus driver.
Just as he was about to go sniff the students more, a yellow ring suddenly appeared in front of him.
"Creeper of Sector 2814, You have the ability to Instill Great Fear, Welcome to the Sinestro Corps" the ring said before sliding onto the creepers middle finger on his right hand.
As the ring went on his finger, the emotional symbol for fear flashed in The Creeper's eyes.
