Hullo!

This just came to me and I wrote it down, I don't even know.

I don't own Percy Jackson, Rick Riordan does.

Enjoy...

Piper was making her way to the Zeus Cabin when she heard foot falls behind her, she turned but no one was there. Piper put her hand on the hilt of her dagger – she was sure that it had been nothing but it's always good to be ready.

The daughter of Aphrodite carried on walking and she heard it again. Feeling more anxious by the second Piper unsheathed her blade around half way, this gave her a clear view of the path behind in the mirror-like bronze. She smirked; hiding behind a bush a few strides after her was Leo, his mess of black hair sticking out over the leaves. I'll just play along for now, she thought.

Leo, feeling elated he hadn't yet been seen, got up as Piper began to walk away again. Her hand was hovering over the handle of her dagger and she was walking carefully as if one wrong move could lead to an attack. Leo stifled a laugh, this was too good! He tiptoed as carefully as he could over to Piper – he was a feet away when he jumped forward and grabbed Piper by the shoulders.

"Boo!" He screamed.

Piper stood perfectly still and turned to face him. "Next time, try not to be so obvious," Piper advised with a smile.

"Awh!" The boy whined. "I will get you one day, Beauty Queen, I will," Leo warned.

"Maybe you should ask Annabeth if you could borrow her invisibility cap," Piper suggested jokingly.

Leo's eyes widened to resemble brown tennis balls. "Say that again."

"What?"

"What does Annabeth have?"

"A Yankees cap and if you put it on you become invisible…" Piper explained, she thought that would have been rather self-explanatory.

"No way!"

"Urm... Yes, she really does," Piper countered.

"Woah…" Leo said, his eyes glittering like a child on his birthday. Tiny flames danced on Leo's palms and up his arms from all the excitement. "Think of all the possibilities! All the things you could do with something like that!"

"I never really thought about it before," Piper said, she stepped away from Leo a little to avoid getting set on fire. "I'm sure you could try it out if you asked."

"You could walk around naked and no one would even know you were naked because they wouldn't be able to see you!"

"Well, maybe, she won't let you borrow it if you're going to do that with it," Piper said, Leo took no notice and carried on listing the things he would do if an invisibility cap came to be in his possession.

"All the endless pranks and jokes that could be executed so perfectly if invisibility was on my side! And you could borrow things without going through the tedious job of asking," he laughed mostly to himself.

"Leo, I'm pretty sure that second idea is called stealing - I can tell you from experience that it doesn't go down well," Piper reminded him.

"Nahh… Of course it's not," he answered but he didn't seem to be all that sure.

"Yeah, have fun planning and scheming… It's not even guaranteed Annabeth will lend it to you. Anyway, I have to go and meet Jason," with that Piper walked away. She turned back to face Leo, turned on the Charmspeak just a tad, and added, "Don't do anything too extravagant. See you."

~ OoO ~

Leo knocked on the door of the Athena Cabin and Annabeth answered.

"Ahh, just the girl I was hoping to see!" Leo stated with his arms out.

"Hello, Leo," Annabeth said.

"Annabeth-" Leo started in a sugary sweet voice.

The girl sighed, "What do you want?"

"Well…"
