My little brother came home today. His name is Sammy.
He's very small, and all wrapped up in blankets, like a present.
Daddy held him and I peeked at him.
He opened his eyes for just a second.
And you know what?
He smiled at me.
Daddy says Sammy's too little to smile yet.
But I know he smiled at me.
He's funny.
I'm a big brother now.
I'm going to be the best ever, I told Daddy and Mommy.
They laughed, Daddy said he was sure I would.
He said life just got more interesting.
I think Daddy's right.
