Crowfeather walked towards the log on the island to leave the Gathering. He stopped as he spotted Leafpool and Squirrelflight. "What do you want?" He snarled.

Pelt like night

Eyes like ice

This cat shows

That there is always

A price

Squirrelflight stepped forward. The position she was in showed that she was protecting her sister. The blazing warrior refused to let this stupid tom hurt her sister. "You know perfectly well what!" Snapped the she-cat.

Fur like flame

A look of stone

Told him to leave

Her sister alone

Leafpool watched their encounter with the WindClan cat begin. She missed his so much. She remembered when they had run away, free of the pressure of the clans. They would have had a family. She remembered this moment in her life and the moment that followed. This moment is what made up her mind. She stepped forward calmly. "Stop fighting. It is still full moon; there is still the truce. We must all follow the warrior code." She said smoothly looking at both her sister and former mate remembering when she had made the decision to follow the code.

Brown as bark

As calm as a lake

The other sister knew

What was at stake

Crowfeather and Squirrelflight glared at each other for a heartbeat more. Then, for the sake of Leafpool, relented. They were ready to follow their paths now. Each one of those three cats would follow the code made by their ancestors as well as their hearts.

These three cats

Of separate hearts

Must find

Their set parts.
