Kid flash and Phoenix go to the beach for some summer time fun will they admit their feelings read and find out.
Phoenix do you want to go to the beach? I'm bored and I need something to do." Kid flash asked
"Yah, sure. I'm going to change. Meet you back here in five." Phoenix responded
Phoenix looked in her closet and pulled out a blue bikini top that had white strips and a pair of white boy shorts she than put on a large yellow t-shirt on top and went to go met up with Kid flash he was wearing a pair of red boxers with yellow lighting symbols on his cheeks. They then set off for the beach
A half hour later they were at the beach. Phoenix laid her towel in on the floor and began to put sun block on when she tried to reach her back she had a problem she wouldn't dare ask Kid flash for help the thought of his muscular arms rubbing lotion on her back made her ugh she didn't even want to think about it! for help she than proceeded to trying put it on her self when Kid flash appeared in front of her
"Do you need any help" he asked
'Don't stare at his body. Don't stare at his body. …I didn't know he had a six-pack…NO! Don't stare at his body!' Phoenix thought
"Yeah I'm fine" Phoenix squeaked "All done" she said throwing the sunscreen bottle over her shoulder forgetting to put it on her back.
"So you want to go in the water," he asked
"Sure lets go" Phoenix replied pulling his hand when she realized she was holding his hand she let go and blushed "Last one in there's a rotten egg" she said running for the water
Kid flash grinned obviously she forgot that he was the fastest kid alive in seconds he had ran over grabbed Phoenix over his shoulder and threw her in the water. He waited a few moments for her to come up and when she didn't he started getting worried
"Okay Phoenix you come put now" he yelled but still no response he than dove in and looked for Phoenix as he looked he failed to notice the wave coming up when he felt the shadow loomed over him it was too late the wave crashed down on him as he came up he notice Phoenix sitting on a surfboard of white magic
"I can't believe you fell for that" she laughed she than summoned another wave and began to surf it while Kid flash watched in awe
Soon enough they came out the water and watched the sunset
"Wow it's beautiful" Phoenix sighed
"Not as beautiful as you" Kid flash muttered
Phoenix et out a gasp and blushed "You really think I'm beautiful" she asked
"Of course i do any guy to think other wise is and idiot" Kid flash said
"Thanks" Phoenix blushed and ducked her head
"Hey phoenix" Kid flash called
As Phoenix turned her head Kid flash pecked her on the lips
"I uh sorry it's just that..." Kid flash started Phoenix cut him off by pressing her lips against his and kissed him; soft and slowly.
"I like you too" she said
Kid Flash put his arms around her protectively and they snuggled up together watching the sunset falling asleep in each other's arms.
Later That Evening
"Ow Ow Ow" Phoenix cried, "This is all your fault"
"My fault how is it my fault" Kid flash asked
"Because if you had admitted you liked me earlier I wouldn't have been embarrassed to ask you to help me put sunscreen on my back" Phoenix yelled
"Well my bad if you get all hot and horny around me" Kid flash grinned
"I did not say that" Phoenix shouted
"Well you mind as will have" Kid flash
"Just get back to work," Phoenix said
"As you wish" Kid flash said and continued rubbing aloe lotion on her back
Phoenix then felt a slight breeze on her lips and smiled to herself maybe this sunburn wasn't that bad after all
