Like Mother Like Daughter

Hermione McGonagall sat in the Gryffindor common room study for her final exams which would be coming up in a few weeks. She was sure she wouldn't fail but wanted to make sure she knew everything just in case. Deciding she needed a break, she put her books back in her bag and took them upstairs to her room. She placed the books next to her bed. She noticed that there was a note on her bed and opened it.

It was from her favorite teacher who was also her mother. She glanced over the note.

" Dear Hermione,

I trust that you are studying very hard as always. I would like to spend some time with you. I have no more classes for the rest of the day, and was hoping we could go to Hogsmead for lunch and spend some time together Auntie Poppy and Rolanda would also like to join us. Let me know what you decide.

Love always,

Mom"

Hermione read the note and thought it over and decided she would join her mother and aunts. She hadn't really got to spend a lot of time with them with finals and other things going on. The only time she got to see was either before classes or during dinner, and she missed them. She wrote her mother a quick reply and sent it off before going up stairs to get ready.

She decided to wear a green shirt with black and grey stars on it and a black and grey jacket and blue jeans. Pulling her hair back. She set off quickly to meet them. She decided that since she was having trouble memorizing Ancient Runes and thought that she could study some while they were eating.

She met her mother and aunts in the entrance hall. They shared greetings and chatted when Minerva noticed that her daughter had her school bag on her shoulder.

" Hermione why are you carrying your schoolbag with you?" Minerva asked.

" Well I wanted to make sure I understood everything for Ancient Runes and thought that I could study while we were eating" Hermione replied quietly.

Poppy and Rolanda chuckled, " What's so funny?" Minerva asked wondering why they were laughing they collected themselves and patted Hermione on the shoulder and said at the same time.

" Like mother like daughter!" With that said they went to Hogsmead and had a fun day.
