Hey everyone. I know this is way off from my story I'm working on. To all my fans you would know it as "Little Lotte's Guardian of Music." But I wanted to share this with you all. In my creative writing class the teacher gives us in-class exercises to help us practice with different styles of writing.

They style she had us write last Thursday was to take a song and write the story behind the lyrics and because The Phantom of the Opera had been pounded into my brain so many times by my own doing I decided to use that and I came up with a really creative piece.

This is one-shot as everyone calls it so don't bash me please. I hope to get many reviews and a good grade on this when I hand it in. Once again enjoy.

The Story Behind The Words

Music was the way to Christine's heart, the Phantom thought to himself. But would she sing for him?

In sleep he sang to me in dreams he came.

That voice that calls to me and speaks my name.

And do I dream again?

For now I found the Phantom of the Opera is there, inside my mind.

She was singing on her own, it was as if his wishes were sent to her ordering her to sing or that she was so in a trance that it came naturally. The Phantom decided to keep the song going for he did not want her to stop.

Sing once again with me our strange duet.

My power over you grows stronger yet.

And yet you turn from me to glance behind,

The Phantom of the Opera is there, inside your mind

Christine kept going pleased to hear him sing out to her with that beautiful voice of his.

Those who have seen your draw back in fear,

I am the mask you wear.

It's me they hear.

Then they sang together as he led her farther into the darkness their voices intertwining to making a harmonious melody.

My/Your spirit and your/my voice in one combined.

You find the Phantom of the Opera is there inside your/my mind.

He's there the Phantom of the Opera.

Beware the Phantom of the Opera

She sang out before she began to vocalize the notes getting louder each time causing the gate to the Phantom's lair to rise and for candles to rise out of the water already lit.

"Sing my Angel of Music. Sing for me. Sing!" the Phantom commanded as he continued to row their boat up to the shore. He had ensnared her and now she was his, his student and soon to be his wife.

She stopped singing and looked up at the masked face smiling down at her. Taking his offered hand she climbed out of the boat and stood next to him. "Are you really the Phantom of the Opera?" she asked.

"I am."

"Then kiss me for I thought I was dreaming."

The Phantom at once embraced her in his cape and kissed her deeply. "Music was no doubt the way to Christine's heart," he thought to himself as he kissed his beloved angel.

So what did you guys think? The part about the kiss wasn't in the original production in my notebook, but if I had had more time in class to write I was going to put that. Please review I would love to hear everyone's comments. Now back to Lotte's story now that this is out of the way.
