A/N I don't own Teen Titans.
Raven did not choose this. She had never wanted this. It was all his fault and now they were stuck like this.
Yes. Raven and Beast Boy were stuck babysitting Robin and Starfire's child. Well really it was more like Raven babysitting both Beast Boy and the child, Wren.
As of right now, Beast Boy and the five year old were playing hide-and-seek. The two kids were hiding and Raven was seeking. To be quite frank, she was dragging out finding them for as long as she could. It was the first time all day that she had had some peace and quiet. Yet even her beloved quiet betrayed her as her mind began to wander to the bane of her existence, Beast Boy.
Now more than ever the green changeling played her heart like a fiddle (not that she would ever let him in on that little secret). Everytime he accidentally brushed his skin against hers or he tried to scare her by sneaking up behind her and his breath tickled her neck, she would go into emotional overload and something somewhere would break. At first she checked it off to him just being his extremely irritating self, but that didn't explain why her eyes would wander appraisingly over his matured body. It certainly did not explain her mind suddenly going into fantasies that involved a certain green titan and a certain titan in less than pure situations. At that point, Raven had figured out what she felt, but she refused to admit it. SHe would never say she was in lo-
Was that a giggle? Why yes it was. Coming from the inside of a linen closet was the high-pitched giggle of six year old Wren. Raven smiled to herself. That girl was too bubbly for her own good. Raven quickly formulated a plan to scare the two when she heard a conversation.
"Uncle Beastie, do you love Raven?" Wren asked innocently.
It took all of Raven's energy not to break something right then.
"Um. What makes you ask that?" Beast Boy replied.
"Well I see the way Daddy looks at Mommy and you look at Auntie Raven like that."
"Wow. So smart for such a little girl."
"Mhm. You didn't answer me, though."
"Can't distract you huh? Well I-"
And then Raven could no longer keep her emotions in check while anticipating Beast Boy's answer. The light in the hallway shatters and the linen closet doors fly open.
"Auntie Raven! You found us!" Wren said while wrapping her small arms around Raven's leg.
Beast Boy studiously avoided looking at Raven and rubbed the back of his neck. Raven frowned and decided to focus on Wren.
"Auntie Raven, can I ask you a question?"
"Go ahead."
"Do you love Uncle Beastie?"
"Oh. Oh. Um. Well you see. Beast Boy and I are teammates. We are friends. We are family. All of these are way more important than something as irregular as love. Plus he's annoying," Raven answered while poking Wren in the side.
Beast Boy watched the exchange oddly silently and Raven definitely felt the palpable tension.
"But do you love him?"
"I, I suppose I do."
Next thing she knew, Beast Boy's face was only centimeters from hers and his breath tickled her lips.
"Do you really mean that?" he asked.
"I don't lie, Garfield."
"Good."
Then his lips were on hers and it was better than any of her daydreams. The pressure of his lips, his hands, his body, it was all perfect. Then she remembered the pressure on her leg and quickly pushed Beast Boy off.
"Wren," she hissed.
Beast Boy barely registered what she said while he stood with a huge, dopey smile on his face.
"Auntie Raven, are you and Uncle Beastie going to have babies now too?" Wren asked.
"Don't worry, Wren. We'll be working on it every night, " Beast Boy answered.
Downstairs the television exploded while Raven blushed furiously.
