Arthur Weasly and the mysterious Ipod

A/N: I am not quite sure where the idea for this came from but it may have something to do with Harry Potter reminiscing while on my Ipod.

A/N: I do not own any of the Apple or Harry Potter franchises no matter how much I wish I did.

Arthur was minding his own business engrossed in the extraordinary concept of the underground journey home from the ministry of magic. An electrically moved tube full of people, in a different tube under the floor, how fantastic. As they came to a stop at Piccadilly Circus it caught his eye. The most beautiful muggle artefact he had ever seen in his entire life. Oh my word this is better than the rubber duck. He observed for a distance baffled by the spectacle before him, it appeared to have a small apple painted on the back though it showed not similarity to the tree grown fruit he loved. Then he noticed something else, a long white string entering the person at the ear. He had to investigate; his curiosity had gotten the better of him.

Walking over to the man he wondered what to say as his eyes gleamed like a child on Christmas day faced with a mountain of sparkly new toys. The man felt his eyes on him and glared but in the mission for new discoveries Arthur was not perturbed.

"Excuse me sir, could I ask what that is." He asked pointing at the small block balanced in the palm of the man's hands.

"What?" He didn't seem amused by the query

"What is that?" He asked again not quite sure what the man was having trouble understanding.

"It's an Ipod man, what century do you live in." He started laughing to himself.

"I have never came across an eye pod before, what is its primary function?" the questions flooded his head, so much he didn't know, so much he longed to learn.

"Primary what?" the man didn't have a clue.

A nearby commuter lent a hand, "he means what it does."

"It's a music player." The man said trying to step out of the way of the curious stranger with such an inquisitive mind.

"Interesting, could I have a look." The man surely must have thought Arthur was a lunatic by this stage but reluctantly allowed the request.

The curious commuter with the red hair and green robe took the Ipod from the man and weighed it in his hands first, examining it from all angles. How spectacular, but where does the music come from? Then he remembered the little white bits of string in the man's ears.

He took a white strand from the man's ear and placed it to his own, jumping back as his brain was bombarded with a full range of noises. But how, this is impossible, even in the wizard world. What shocked him even more was the number under the writing 24 of 2300, 2300 songs on a device not much bigger than his bus ticket.

"Where did you get this?" Mr Weasly asked putting the bud back to his ear and tried to bounce along to the beats, it ended up looking like he was having a fit. People stared at him and laughed but he was oblivious in his world of amazed stupor.

"A shop, PC world, they don't cost that much." At the next stop Arthur ran from the bus to find the nearest PC world.
