The Cullens were all hunting, Carlisle, Esme, Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, Alice, Renesmee, Bella and Edward. They all soon found themselves at the top of a little cliff, just above a lake with a tiny, rocky waterfall.
"It's so beautiful" breathed Esme.
Alice walked forward a little bit until she was on the edge of the cliff, Emmett saw an opportunity and jumped up and down really hard, bringing Alice out of her little dreamworld and making her lose her balance.
"Wha-? Uh oh" she screamed as she tumbled over the edge and into the deep waters below.
"Alice?" Jasper shouted down after his wife, there was no reply. "Emmett, you idiot"
Emmett pretended to cry and snuggled into Rosalie, she looked uncomfortable and patted his back, awkwardly.
"He hurt my feelings, Rose. I'm so fragile" he wailed into her shoulder.
"There, there" she said.
Once he had recovered, Emmett bent over the edge to look for Alice.
"Can you see her?" Renesmee asked.
"No, not unless she's part mermaid" Emmett replied.
"Well, why don't you go and find out, Triton?" said Rosalie.
She kicked her heel into Emmett's butt and sent him tumbling over the edge. Jasper saw his own little opportunity and pushed Rosalie over the edge too. She screamed all the way down.
"Catch me, Emmett" she shouted.
"I got you" he said, holding his arms out.
She fell several metres away from him, she got up and splashed water at him.
"What the hell kind of catch was that" she yelled.
"The catch of the day" he said, edging over to her, trying to be smooth.
Meanwhile, up on the cliff, Esme was edging closer to Carlisle who had his back to her. She pushed her arms out closer and closer and closer until he suddenly turned around and she quickly took her arms back.
He smirked, well aware of what she was trying to do.
"Were you trying to push me, Esme?" he asked.
"N-no, you just...uh had a little something on your coat" she stammered. "Don't worry, I got it"
"Do you know what I got?" he smirked again.
"N-no" she stammered again.
"You" he said, lifting her up into his arms and flinging them both off of the cliff.
They landed in the water with an almighty splash, she came up and spat water in his face. She swam away while he tried to catch her. Jasper was shaking with anticipation and within seconds, he had taken off his coat and was diving in after Alice.
He swam the around the entire lake before finding Alice, hiding behind the waterfall.
"It's really quite lovely down here" she smiled innocently.
"God, Alice, you made my dead heart jump up into my throat" he said.
"Eww, Jazz, do you have to be so graphic?" she joked.
He smiled and kissed her with joy and happiness, he really was genuinely worried about her.
Bella, Edward and Renesmee ended up jumping in too. Well, Bella and Renesmee both pushed Edward in and he managed to grab Bella's hand and pull her in with him while Renesmee watched. She eventually got bored and jumped in too.
"Cannon Ball" she screamed.
