A Case of Mistaken Identity

"Fred, can I talk to you?" Alicia Spinnet ran to catch up with the tall, red-headed lad.

"Hi Alicia, what's happening?" Fred replied to his friend.

Alicia began to speak quickly, before her brain caught up with what her mouth was saying; then she knew she wouldn't have enough nerve to say what she so desperately needed to say,"Fred, I've been wanting to say this for years, but it was never the right time, and I was so afraid that you wouldn't feel the same and we couldn't be friends, but now I just have to come out and say it…" she was interrupted by George bowling up to the two of them, nearly knocking his twin over.

"Hey, Alicia, I really have to tell you something!" George exclaimed.

"George, do you mind? Fred and I are about to have a pivotal, life changing moment here! This is like the crossroads of our relationship!" she shrieked. "But, Alicia.." George began, "George, just shut up for a minute!" she turne back to the shocked but expectant face of Fred. "Fred, I love you. I've always loved you." And with that she grabbed the love of her life and kissed him passionately, full on the mouth, in the middle of the corridor.

Fred pulled out of the kiss red-faced and laughing. "Wow, 'licia, thanks. But sweetheart, I'm George. He's Fred. And he finally manned up and was going to say he loved you too! Honestly woman, you call yourself his future wife!"
