"Oh Eli! I can't wait to visit you in New York. I've missed you so."
"I've missed you too, Clare. I think about you... you-"
"Eli, are you okay?" Clare asked in concern.
"Y- yeah... I'm fine Clare. I'd like you to see my dorm. I think you're going to like it."
Clare smiled on the other end. She couldn't stop thinking about how his dorm would be with just the two of them in there. A whole week with just her and Eli, she's dreamed of this moment ever since Eli started talking about NYU.
"Goodnight, Clare. I love you."
"I love you too Eli." Clare spoke before setting her phone on her bedside table. She already had her bags packed and tucked away in the corner of her room for the big day that was ahead of her tomorrow. She let sleep take over her being before the dreams of his handsome face consumed her.
It was morning and Clare was rushing to the airport just barely on time for her flight. She got seated and noticed she was next to a scraggly man who kept shifting his butt off the seat and she began to smell a weird stinch. She couldn't wait to get off this plane and into Munro's safe and good smelling arms.
She boarded off the plane but Eli wasn't in sight. She began to worry and connect the incident that happened over the phone that had her worried. He seemed like he was breathing hard and now he doesn't show up at the airport. She hurried and called a taxi to her to drive to his school.
Clare arrived at his school and found his dorm. She opened the door to find Eli sliding it out of lenore. "Clare! I'm so sorry! please forgive me!" Clare ran out and slammed the door.
Her eyes welled up with tears and she slid to the floor in agony. Eli came out a few minutes later fully clothed and begged her forgiveness. "I made you a collage of our convos babe"
"oh Eli, I love you!" She swung her arms around his neck and they hugged as they swung eachother around in circles.
Later that night, Clare and Eli made mean prank calls to Lenore and Eli revealed himself and told her he wanted nothing to do with her ever again. "Oh eli!" Clare gasped.
They also made love on the floor because Clare didn't want to on the bed now because of reasons. But none the less they had a wonderful night and everything was good after that.
