I keep asking myself, wondering how
I keep closing my eyes but I can't block you out
Riku pressed the blade against his wrist, slicing the vein. The pain was almost numb, the feeling was indescribable. Only a few inches away, Riku sliced the same vein in another place, deeper then the one before. He closed his eyes and let out a sigh. The image of her finding his body. The image of her crying out to him, her pale naked skin against his cold blood.
"And you keep letting yourself fall farther until there's nothing left to loose."
And I'm all mixed up, feeling cornered and rushed
They say it's my fault but I want her so much
Riku felt his body grow weaker. He held the knife tightly in his hands, the blade cutting the vein in his middle finger. He felt the sweat run from his forehead down to his neck and soak his clothes. Tears fell form his cheeks and slid into his mouth where he let out small moans of pain.
"You're a disturbed guy, Riku. I think you need some help."
When they stop and stare - don't worry me
'Cause I'm feeling for her what she's feeling for me
He heard the door open and close. He heard the voice he wanted to hear after he was dead call out to him, "Riku? Where are you?"
He heard her footsteps come closer one by one until he heard the door to his room open. The girl turned on the light, and Riku flinched. He waited for her scream- her cry- her reaction.
"Riku…" She whispered. Riku peered through his eyes at her. She rushed to his side, and picked his wrist up. She examined it, then put it down. "I'm calling the hospitable," and with hat, she snatched the knife away form Riku's hand. She ran from the room, and to the phone. He heard a brief silence before he heard, "My best friend's just tried to commit suicide, please come quickly. I don't know how long he's going to last…"
"And I don't know why… but I love you."
I can try to pretend, I can try to forget
But it's driving me mad, going out of my head
-And In My Field of Paper Flowers-
Hope you like. The girl was Yuffie, or if you really want someone else, you can imagine it as well. Originally it was going to end up with him in the hospitable talking to Yuffie, but it didn't. I cut parts from the song "All the things She Said" by T.A.T.U. which I have no idea how that song relates to this… but I guess the song is mostly like the girl reflecting on what the girl said, and it really bothering her. (form what I think) Please review!
By the way, does anyone know how to space the first part of the paragraphs?
