A/N: My first ever (posted) Obi-Wan/Nikki (Kenikki, cause I don't have a better name for it) ship fic! Please lemme know if you guys liked it!

Obi-Wan is a 16 year old Padawan in this fic, because 16 year old Obi-Wan is so cute, and if I can't have him, then I might as well give him to Nikki.

Also, this is my first fic that spans more than one fandom, so it's listed under the ones in order of defending importance. Sorry, Avengers, but you didn't make the cut!

Slow on Laserbeak saw them standing on the sidewalk just outside the Tower. He didn't understand why she changed when he showed up. Unflappable, sarcastic, child-like, badaft warrioress Frost Phoenix Nikki Skylar...acting like a flustered teen. No, like a shy teen. Now there were a lot of words he'd use to describe her, but neither 'shy' nor 'flustered' described her. Ever.

So, what was the deal with this kid? Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Padawan, Nikki's opposite in a lot of ways, somehow manages to silence her and make her stutter with a smile? Something wasn't right here, and Laserbeak was determined to find out what.

He asked Nikki, who promptly blushed and said nothing was going on, and that she had no idea why he asked that, and that she suddenly (*cough cough* conveniently *cough*) remembered a meeting she needed to attend. She rushed away, quick footsteps rounding the corner and heading toward her room.

He tried to find the Brit, but he had also conveniently disappeared, and not even Laserbeak's expert tracking skills could find him. Either way, he probably didn't know what was going on.

He asked Pepper, Peggy, and Natasha, all of whom giggled and laughed and basically explained that if he didn't know, they weren't gonna tell them. He sighed and begged, but they didn't budge, so he looked for one more person who might be able to give him answers.

He asked Tony. Tony, who gave him something of a shocked look, eyebrows raised. Tony, who went back to working on whatever he was working on and answering as cryptically as possible. "Well, it's 'bout time," he simply replied.

"For what?" Laserbeak asked. Tony started snickering. "What is going on? I think something's up, and you're not being helpful here!" No-one was. What did they know about his partner that he didn't?

"A bit slow on the uptake, eh?" Tony chuckled as he continued to work on the new tech. Laserbeak nearly grabbed his tool and threatened not to give it back till he told, him in plain terms, what was going on. But he didn't. He thought long and hard about it, nearly falling off his perch when he first considered it. And the longer he thought about it, the more certain he was.

Laserbeak saw them standing on the sidewalk, and he smiled when she looked away shyly.
