She liked to watch him. The attraction was unexpected and not at all appropriate. He was old enough to be her father, but she didn't care. He was her friend; the one that she could turn to when she had a fight with Ron, or when her older brothers would go and fight in the war.
She was never allowed to go fight; they said she was too young. Her mother was already protective of her, but this extra restriction was just icing on top of the cake. It made her frustrated; even more so since her now ex-boyfriend, Harry Potter, had broken up with her merely for her "safety."
She was sick of hearing, "Ginny, you can't go fight. What if you get hurt? No, it's for your own good."
He wasn't allowed to fight either, only because he was still a wanted man. If he stepped foot outside the door, the Ministry officials would arrest him and send him back to Azkaban. She could tell that he was frustrated at being cooped up and was becoming extremely bored. She would watch him argue with other Order members and stomp around the hallway upstairs when they would refuse him even just the minutest moment of time outside.
She muses that he was just as annoyed with the others as she was. No one could see that they were slowly being driven mad by being locked up for their safety.
Perhaps it was because of that situation which brings them to the one that they are in now. Snogging each other in the blackness of his room. The floor littered with hippogriff droppings and clothes strewn across the furniture. Lips locked in a ferocious battle and hands running down each others bodies.
It seems that temptation had gotten the best of them.
