In the beginning
We were as one
Male and female
The perfect being
When the gods grew jealous
They ripped us apart
Separate and alone
Without our other half
Now each longs to be reunited
To become whole once again
But with all the people in this land
It is difficult to see
To know where that person is
To know it's meant to be
Will we ever be together again?
Or continue this ultimate suffering?
Being detached and forlorn
Alone the rest of our lives
