It was after school on a sunny day in Mitakihara. Students were dismissed for the day and were walking out the door. They were talking to their friends and loved ones.
Madoka was walking with Homura, who was smiling at her. "Madoka, I'm so glad I'm with you."
"Me too, Homura-chan." Madoka smiled right back at her. And she really meant it. She was glad to be with her, alone, even if it was only today.
"Hey...Want to go to my place, since it's on your way home?"
"Um...Yeah, sure."
...
"Madoka..."
"What is it, Homura-chan?"
"I have to show you something."
"Hmm? What is it?"
Homura slowly took Madoka's hand and led her to her room. Inside her room was lots of balloons and hearts full of chocolate candies. "Happy Valentines Day, Madoka."
Madoka was quite suprised with this. She didn't expect Homura to suprise her like that. In fact, she was pretty sure she was going to suprise her way more than that. Because she loved her. She was precious to her and could not let her go.
"...Oh my gosh, thank you!" Madoka tackled Homura with a hug, and they both ended up with each other to the wall. Madoka was right next to her.
"M-Madoka..." Homura stuttered. She totally didn't expect that. All she expected was a simple "thank you" and that's all. She was blushing, eyes wide open.
"I-I didn't expect you to do that all of a sudden..."
Madoka grinned and let out a giggle. "Well, it was my turn to suprise you, so...yeah."
Homura blushed even harder. "U-Um..."
Madoka cupped Homura's cheek with her hand, and looked in her eyes. "Homura-chan, there's just one thing I want to tell you."
"What is it, Madoka?"
"...I love you." Madoka's lips slowly met Homuras'. She closed her eyes, her mind just caught in the moment. It was a loving feeling for both of them, and they were enjoying it, right at this minute. It was their moment.
Madoka slowly pulled back and embraced her. "I love you so much. I am so glad to have you in this moment."
Homura smiled and returned the embrace. "I love you too, Madoka. And I'm never letting go."
