Jack's arms were wrapped around me tight as he kissed me. My heart pounded with love. I can't believe all that had happened in such a short amount of time. Finally we broke away from the kiss. He looked at me and smiled. He could tell I had a lot on my mind. "What's wrong?" he asked. I stared at him for a minute then I said, "I'm just thinking about what all has happened and how I love you so much and how I always have." I quickly shut up. I was such an idiot for saying that. He looked at me in surprise. Then he didn't wait a second to say "I love you too Sally."
Jack got down on one knee and took out a ring. I almost fainted. The ring was beautiful. It had a black pearl in the center surrounded by chips of bone on the sides. He started to speak, "Sally, I love you and I want to spend the rest of eternity with you." I began to cry as he said, "Will you marry me?" I shook my head yes. He got up and put the ring on my finger. He hugged me very tightly. This is the beginning of our life together.
