CHRISTMAS, THE BURROW, 1996
"Harry," began Mrs Weasley as she was folding some sheets, "do you know where Ron and Hermione disappeared to?"
Harry was sat with Ginny as he helped with her Muggle Studies homework.
"Oh, I think they went to his room to-" but Harry never finished as Mrs Weasley bustled off with lightning speed.
'No way is Hermione going to get pregnant under my watch,' Mrs Weasley thought as she climbed the stairs to the attic bedroom.
Her hand on the doorknob, she was ready to burst in there if it wasn't for the giggle she heard from Ron that sounded slightly girly.
"I know he's incredibly fit, right?" said Hermione, surprising Mrs Weasley. Was Ron the one she went to for girl talks.
"So fit! One time I saw him in the quidditch changing rooms and I swear to Merlin, I was about to faint!" Ron replied with a longing sigh. It was all Mrs Weasley could do to not gasp aloud.
"You better ask him out soon, Ron because Harry told me if he hears you having a wet dream about Blaise Zabini again he will Avada you in your sleep." Hermione said, giggling once more. Mrs Weasley held a hand to her heart in shock and despaired once she realised how little she knew her own son.
"I know," Ron replied, sighing once more, "He saw me staring once at dinner and the way he ate his strawberries after got me rock hard in a second."
They both collapsed in giggles and Mrs Weasley started to feel a bit dizzy as she thought she was dreaming. Sure, Charlie was bisexual and no one had a problem with it but the sheer 180 turn on Ron's personality had her overwhelmed.
"But seriously, I've decided to ask him to Hogsmeade after I come out to my family," Ron said, sighing a little bit in fear.
"Don't worry, i'll hex Fred and George if they tease you," Hermione said, understanding the sigh.
Mrs Weasley, having recovered from shock, tiptoed back down a flight of stairs before coming up loudly and knocking. She gently opened the door and saw them sitting cross legged with duvets wrapped around them so only their heads popped out.
"Dinner time, kids," was all she said before returning downstairs with a soft smile. Ron was lucky to have a friends like his.
Fin.
a/n: I know, I know. Ron may be a lil bit OOC but I like the idea of him comfortable with his sexuality and talking about boys with Hermione. I don't think Hermione is OOC though because a girls gotta live and she can be girly when she wants. Reviews are taken into account. xx MB2211
