Connected By Ink
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Not the Teen Titans or there symbol. Well that's pretty much it.
Pease Read and Review and enjoy. And yes this is in Starfire's Point of view.
We all have one.
Just in different places.
Cyborg got his after he came back to the team when he and Robin had that fight. It was on the skin of his arm.
Raven got hers after she defeated her father. Hers is on her left hip bone.
Beast Boy got his after the 'Terra incident'. Not surprisingly his is on his butt. No he didn't show us he told us.... Thank god for small miracles.
Robin... we are all pretty sure he got his after the whole Slade, apprentice thing. His is on his left ankle.
I got mine after I finally figured out that I could trust them and that I was safe and didn't have to live in fear. Mine is on my right ankle (I got it there before I had seen Robin's, we had a good laugh about it after we found out were his and mine were). I was the last one to get one.
Have you figured out what I'm talking about yet?
A tattoo.
Surprise.
Ink that is permanently embedded on your skin.
Of course we all have the same tattoo.
The Teen Titans Symbol.
So you're thinking so what, big deal.
It is a big deal, to us anyway. It's a symbol of trust, commitment and loyalty not only to each other but to the city. It's also a promise to protect the innocent and defeat the villains that threaten to ruin all of our lives.
And in all honestly it looks... Cool.
But also in many ways it connects us together as a team, and in many ways a family.
We are connected by the ink on our skin, but it's not like its the only thing that connects us, there are actually many things that link us together, but our identical tattoos are just one of the bigger things that join us together.
It is a sign of commitment, connection, responsibility and family. It's something we proudly wear.
End
