A/N: This is my fifth Blue Bloods story and it's Jamko because I wouldn't have it any other way. I wondered what could have been going on in Jamie's head while he was driving over to the garage to save Eddie. So then I came up with this. It's no secret that the Reagan's pray when things get tough or they are scared. So I played on that here. Please read, enjoy, and review.
Jamie drove as fast as was legal in the squad car. He was hurrying to save Eddie. 'His Eddie' he thought. As he drove to the garage he thought about what would happen when he got there and if he would be able to save Eddie. He wanted to badly to protect Eddie. He then did something he hasn't done in a while outside of dinner and church. He prayed and he prayed hard. "God, if you can hear me... It's Jamie and I am really scared and worried about my partner Eddie." He paused as a lone tear slipped as he continued driving. "She is my life God and I love her with my everything. I can't live without her. She is my best friend in the whole world." He paused for a breath then pleaded "Please God don't take away my Eddie. Please let me make it in time to save her. Let her be okay and alive. I need her badly."
When Jamie made it to the garage and Eddie was okay he looked to the sky and silently thanked God. 'Thank you God for giving me back Eddie.' Jamie was so glad God has answered his prayer and protected Eddie and helped him save her.
