Just when everything goes right some fool manages to blow up a potion. I stare at Draco in exasperation. He gives me a look, Tell me about, when will he learn.

I giggle in spite of myself. I waggle my eyebrows and arc my brow.

He gives me a small nod. His eyes glow in amusement.

I burst out laughing. My workmates turn to stare at me confused. Some smile knowingly at one another while looking towards Draco.

He, on the other hand, simply shakes his head at me. I blush at the though of the more rumors we managed to make today.

I return to my work in a much better mood then a couple of minutes ago. I hum distractedly. "So is it official?"

I turn my head to see Padma Patil lean over her cauldron, confusion washes over my face. "Are you dating Draco Malfoy?" she rolls her eyes at me.

I blush at her words. "No, Padma, I am not dating Draco."

She grins, "Hurry up and ask him out!"

"What?! No, I can't do that," I shake my head at her.

"Why not," she pouts.

"Because I don't think he'll go out with me," I honestly respond. Her eyes widen. Too late I realized what I said. I bit my lip, "I mean he is Draco Malfoy. Why would he date me if he can have anyone?"

"Hermione Granger," she slightly scolds, "Are you not the most respected Mediwith?" she waits for me to nod before continuing, "And didn't Witch Weekly put you on Top 10 Most Attractive Witches list?" I once more nod my head, "So according to outside sources you are smart and attractive. How can he not want to date you?"

I sneak a glance at Draco. He was quietly working on his potion. I see how his hair simply flops over his eyes, he brushes it back impatiently. I smile at him. I turn to face Padma. "I should just ask him out right?"

She rolls her eyes, "You two have had a whole mess of unofficial dates."

I widen my eyes at her, "What?!"

"Seriously, you both are always having lunch together or go out with your friends."

"But that is just hanging out."

"Not when all your friends are couples." I ponder her words, "Don't look but he is staring at you with the most determined look on his face."

I quickly turn my head to meet his grey eyes, he smiles at me. I shyly smile back at him. He looks confused for a second, I quickly remember that I am almost never shy around him. He mouths something undecipherable. I shake my head while mouthing: I don't understand. He points at his watch and shows up 5 fingers. I smile at him and nod. He in turn grins and goes back to his potion.

"You guys are so meant to go out." Padma states.

"Maybe, "I reply.

"Where are you going to lunch today?" Padma says while grinning at me knowingly.

"Did you see that?"

She nods, "I think everyone knows he does that to remind you."

"4 minutes left," I softly say.

"Yup," she smiles at me, "So totally future couple thing going on."

The last few minutes fly by. I approach Draco at the door. "hey."

He grins at me, "Ready for our date?"

I stare at him. Seeming to recover the use of voice, "Date?"

"I decided to make it official." he grabs my hand while taking it near his face, "In memory of the day my opinion forever changed about you."

I softly whisper, "The day I slapped you."

"Or the day I feel in love with the Hermione Granger."

I feel the usual electricity from his every touch, "Really?"

"He looks at me smiling, "Really."
