"Drink?" Robbie Lewis asked him as the clock chimed 6.

"Sorry, I've got plans tonight." James replied.

"Where are you taking Jean tonight?"
"I'm not, she wants to show me her idea of a perfect night." James replied.

"Have fun."

"I'm sure I will."

"Jean, I'm home." James called as he walked into his home which he'd given Jean the keys to hours before so she could get sorted for her perfect night.

"Good. Stay out of the living room and go and change out of that suit." Jean called from the kitchen.

"Fine."

Her plan was now nearly ready to be put into action as she put a bowl of peanuts on the coffee table in the lounge and a pic'n'mix bag next to that full of all of their favourites.

The cold winters bite could still be felt from outside despite the fact the fire in the room was now blazing.

"James? Bring a blanket through with you." Jean called through the flat.

"Yeah okay, I'll be through in a second."

He walked back through to the living room only to see Jean sat on the sofa with the fire blazing, with sweets, nuts and a bottle of wine with two glasses lay out on the coffee table in front of her.

"Don't just stand there, I'm cold." Jean laughed as she spoke and with in minutes she was sat between his legs her back resting against his chest as they both lay across the sofa, the blanket lay out across them as James gently kissed the top of her head.

"My ipad is in the drawer there, pick something and we'll watch it on there." She turned and kissed him before she picked up the ipad.

"See I told you I'd show you the perfect night." She smiled content that he felt the same before they settled back down with programme now picked.
