She isn't angry, not really. She should be, but what they are doing is more than understandable when she looks at it from the outside. She could technically lie to herself and say that they are wrong, that she is no danger to anybody. But that would also be a lie, her powers already killed a person, and she couldn't take it if that would happen again. Her mind would break finally, and there would be no going back. She should be able to control it, she is born with it an it shouldn't be that hard, but it is, it's not controllably. Her hand wipes the sweat from her forehead. She doesn't even try to control it anymore; the sedative is doing its job right so why should she even bother to risk anything. The walls of the cell are grayish like everything else here. At least it seems like that to her. The girl brushes a strand of dark brown hair out of her face and slowly tries to stand up. They don't want her to fall unconscious, no they just want to keep her from injuring someone again, or accidentally killing a person. Its better like that, in this state she is no danger to anybody not even herself. The teen stands on her feet and then slowly walks to the other side of the cell using the wall as much needed support. She is wearing a white shirt and grey pants. That's not at all her favorite color she would give her food from 2 days for something in scarlet or black. Well, at least she isn't wearing prison clothes or anything like that. The accident, at least that's what everybody calls it, happened when she was twelve. A boy in her class pushed her against a locker one time too much and she lost control over her powers. She doesn't know what happened after that, she only saw red, scarlet red the color was blocking most of her vision and she couldn't see anything clear. The girl always knew that she had powers, she just didn't think they were that strong. Now she isn't that stupid anymore, a lot of people would call her a monster and deep down she knows that they are right. Her mother had the same powers, but even she just left her own child at an orphanage and left and that was the last time anybody saw her. She is still missing, and the girl wants to tell herself that she doesn't care anymore, but that would also be a lie and nothing more. Maybe her mother had a reason to leave her, she just will most likely never know it. That's ok. It is fine, like everything else. She lays her hand on one of the bars and waits. No one is going to hurt her, they just want to keep everybody safe including herself. And peace always has its cost, but she is more than willingly to pay them. Even if she never can breathe the air of freedom again. It's worth it. She closes her eyes and her forehead leans against another one of the bars. That's her home since nearly 3 years and like she said, she is more than fine with living her live like that, when it safes innocent people. The Raft isn't that bad, at least not for herself, not anymore. And the name fits totally. Now she just needs to wait, its nearly lunchtime. Her food should arrive in no time. The people here are nice to her, they don't give her the same crap that the criminals get. Maybe its because she is still a child, or maybe because she never wanted to harm somebody. She doesn't have bad intensions or something like that. The only thing that she maybe does is making people trust her, so that they tell her what happens outside. Who is president or who won the world cup this year. They also tell her personal stuff, she knows the names of all the guards and what their families look like. One even showed her a picture of his wife and kids. Maybe they shouldn't have told her, its none of her business, and maybe it's dangerous that she knows so much. But she doesn't really care about that anyways. The girl opens her eyes again, they are green, but not the same as her mothers. Its like a forest green but also a little like the venom of a snake. But if she would need to say which hue her eyes actually are, it would be emerald, emerald green. Something she definitely doesn't have from her mother. Sometimes she is a little scared that her eyes make people more suspicious, that they don't want to trust her just because of that color. But that is an entirely absurd thought. She never said that she is smart but the teen is definitely not a moron. Her fingers tap against the bars and she waits. There is no clock in her cell or should she say her room? Even though she doesn't want to leave and most likely hurt people, this is not her home and it never will be, although she will stay here for the rest of her life. Honestly there is only one thing she misses, a necklace she has with her since her mom left her in front of the orphanage that night. She was a few days old at most, and its pure luck that no one took it. The pendant always made her feel safer, as if someone was watching over her the whole time. As if her parents never left her and were still there, protecting her. She knows that's it's just a wishful dream. That her family never cared about her in the first place. Maybe she's just an abomination and should have never existed in the first place. But how should she know the answer to that? It isn't even important.
"Hey Leia, I have your lunch for today. A glass of water, Spaghetti and chocolate cake as a dessert.", the female guard smiles at her and gives her the tray trough the bars of the cell. Leia just nods as an answer und sips at the drink. "Hi Alice, isn't it Bens turn today? Just asking.", the girls voice is not very loud the woman can barely hear it. "He called in sick, the flu. And its not even august yet. When you are done, there is somebody that wants to talk to you", says she and then leans against the wall. The same procedure as every day. Leia begins to eat, not that she wants to break out, she would never try that, but this is making her yawn out of boredom, or maybe that's just because of the sedative, she really doesn't know. "Who would come to this godforsaken place just to talk to me?", Leia raises an eyebrow. She is just so tired at the moment. "Tony Stark", is the answer she gets. The teen just looks at the woman in pure shock. Why the hell does Tony freaking Stark wants to see her? "Why?", the question is only a whisper. The guard doesn't know the answer to that. The girl finishes her meal and sets the tray on the floor. "We don't want to keep him waiting, do we?", Leia smiles at her weakly. Alice doesn't know what it is, but something about that girl seems off, expect her powers. Something that might be even more dangerous. Way more dangerous. But she is always so nice, that must be nothing more than paranoia.
Tony stands already in the room. Leia slowly sits down on the chair. She is a little worried about the whole situation. The billionaire turns around and holds his hand out to her. "Tony Stark", he introduces himself. It's not like she doesn't know who he is. Everybody knows who he is. "Leia Maximoff", answers she and doesn't shake his hand. Her eyelids fall close every few seconds. She is still so tired. "Hey, you guys didn't drug a child, did you?", Tony sounds angry. The teen just looks at him confused. "You did. You know that f*cking illegal", he sighs and grabs a stack of papers. The billionaire places it on the desk and shoves it to her. "That's something similar to the Sakovian Accords, who am lying to it is the exact same stuff they just added a few things. When you sign that you can leave this place. I mean you would have to live at the tower and you are not allowed to use your powers outside but its better than this. Oh, and you would need to be part of their new Avengers team. But that's nothing to big, mostly just smiling and answering annoying questions about your live or your parents", explains he. After they defeated Thanos it became a lot easier for everyone. And a lot calmer. "But I don't know anything about my parents", says she. "That doesn't really matter, you can always lie a little", he really wants to do this fast. Tony hands her a pencil. "So, do you accept?", he asks, smiling a little. Leia grabs the pencil and places her signature under the contract.
"Gratulations, your now officially a part of the Next Avengers"
