Hello~ I said before that I wouldn't be publishing new stories anymore, but I started writing this a while ago and thought it's would be better to continue them. This might also be a good start for me to get back into writing :)
By the way, I might not be able to update my other stories till September. Sorry. I will try to update before that, so wish me luck!
Day 1: Holding hands
"Fuck, Gazel, can't you be more gentle?!" Burn groaned in pain as the white-haired captain examined his injured foot. He bit his lower lip, trying to keep himself from crying out loud in pain. He couldn't let her see him like this; weak and helpless. He was stupid enough to get himself injured right after he challenged her, he was stupid for standing on the bench, he was stupid for actually falling off of it.
"You just said a second ago your foot was fine." Gazel let go of his foot and looked him in the eye. Her expression was as cold as ever, but there was a hint of worry in her eyes. "I think you have hurt your foot really bad."
"Who gives a damn about what you think!" He yelled as he tried to push himself up using his arms and his other leg.
Gazel saw that he struggled a bit as he tried to do so. A part of her wanted to help him, but she knew he would reject her anyway, so why even bother. Weirdly enough, she found herself offering him a hand. "Here… I will help you up."
Burn glared at her hand as if it was the reason he ended up on the ground. He would never accept help from anyone… especially not from her. He was the GREAT captain of Prominence, after all. If he took her hand, then he did not deserve to be The Genesis.
He huffed and turned his head to the side. "I can help myself, thank you very much," he said rudely, finally able to stand up. "I'm fine, see? Now fuck off."
She sighed and pulled her hand back, silently cursing him for being so stubborn. Burn was an idiot who did whatever it took to prove himself. She know he wouldn't change his mind easily, so if he didn't want her help, then she had no choice but to leave him be. "Very well then. Though I think your foot will only get worse if you try to walk by yourself."
Burn ignored her statement and started walking to the other side of the field, dragging his right leg as he tried to support himself using the wall.
Another sigh escaped Gazel's lips; she know she should leave him and go back to her teammates. She know it was totally out of her character to care for someone or to show emotions, but she also know she cared a lot for the red-haired. Despite the way he treated her, she knew for sure she would never be able to leave or hate him.
A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she slowly walked after him. She slowly slipped her hand into his. Her smile grew when she saw he didn't stop her. His face flashed as he glanced at her before looking away quickly. "What's the meaning of this?"
"Nothing, really. I just thought how uncool you will look if you fall again, so if we walk like this," she pulled their hands up for him to see. "Then I will be able to pull you up again."
"T-this is ridiculous," he muttered, his cheeks turned even redder as he gripped tighter on her hand.
I'm really disgusted by this. It's so lame and cheesy. Eww :q
I'm doing this 30 Day Challenge as a practice for me to improve my writing and stuff, so your opinion is really, REALLY important. I know it isn't good enough, so please don't just review saying 'oh, it's amazing!' because it is not. idk I need to know what my strengths and weaknesses are.. ?
