Four Rings and Eleven Roses
It was once again Vexen and Marluxia's anniversary, they had been going steady for quite awhile now. But this year Vexen had something very special planned. Marluxia always expected a gift so Vexen bought a gift for his love. Tonight someone is going to have happy tears. After all the trouble Vexen went through he really hopes he says 'yes' to his question. Tonight they were going to dine at the most romantic diner that he had found in Twilight Town.
"Vexen, this diner is so...." Marluxia was at a loss for words.
"I know, and I did it all for you, my sweet flower" said Vexen.
They then entered the diner, with Vexen escorting Marluxia. The table they sat at had a nice rose centerpiece, with a red candle in the middle. Marluxia decided to order a salad, since he wanted to keep his figure, and skin looking healthy. Vexen ordered spaghetti, but he ordered the lover's spaghetti special. Vexen was hoping that Marluxia and him could reenact a scene from a movie that he saw Demyx watching, which was 'Lady and the Tramp'. Why Demyx was watching it, he had no idea.
After dinner they took a long stroll along Twilight Town. When they got to the ice-cream parlor, they entered for sea-salt ice-cream. They both agreed to share one, and both of them got engaged in an ice-cream kiss. After their dessert, they decided to go to the beach.
It was time for Vexen to get down on his knee. When Vexen got down on his knee, Marluxia was totally surprised. Marluxia was in a bit of shock, he wasn't expecting to be asked the question.
"Marluxia, will you do the honor of marrying me?" Vexen asked.
It took Marluxia a few seconds to register what was happening to him. Until he finally replied to Vexen's question.
"Yes, I will marry you Vexen" replied Marluxia with happy tears streaming down his face.
Then both of them were planning their wedding for many weeks. Both of them adorned matching platinum engagement rings, which had a jewel that looked like ice on Marluxia's, and a jewel that looked like a flower on Vexen's. Marluxia had been adamant about the bouquet having exactly eleven roses. So Vexen let him have his eleven rosed bouquet. Vexen went shopping for a plain black tuxedo for his wedding. Marluxia went shopping for an elaborate floral tux, if he couldn't find one, he would get a floral gown. Marluxia couldn't find a floral tuxedo, so he got the most elaborate gown he could find.
It was now time for the two to walk down the aisle. Vexen had Zexion as his best man. Marluxia had Demyx as his maid of honor. Vexen was in his plain black tuxedo, Zexion the same. While Marluxia was in a light pink gown with a lot of lace, with a green floral pattern going down both the sides. Demyx was wearing a plain blue gown.
Xemnas was the minister that was going to marry them off. Xaldin was making sure that Axel and Roxas didn't try anything. Everyone else was politely waiting for the ceremony commence.
"Vexen, do you take Marluxia as your man from now until death do you part" asked Xemnas.
"I do" replied Vexen.
"Marluxia, do you take Vexen as your man from now until death do you part" asked Xemnas.
"I do" replied Marluxia.
"Good, I now pronounce you man and wife-man, you may now kiss" said Xemnas.
Then the two newlyweds commenced in the end of the ceremony's kiss. They both got their wedding bands which had the other's name engraved in it, they had two rings each. Which added up to four rings, which reminded Marluxia of Vexen more.
