Chapter One~
Edward Elric and his brother Alphonse watched the countryside roll by as they grew farther and farther away from Germany. Edward sighed and leaned his head on his little brother's shoulder. "I wonder if we'll ever go back Al.", he said. Alphonse cocked an eyebrow at him, "To Germany? Why? I thought you said that-" Ed stopped him before he could finish, "I meant Home stupid." Al stopped for a minute and just shrugged. "I don't know brother, I don't know." The rest of their conversation was held silently, by something that only the two of them knew about. They both fell asleep, which made the rest of their trip fly by much faster. They woke up when the Truck came to a stop at a quaint little Inn.
Anabelle Carlow ran down the busy streets of a market place in London. She felt people's gaze and it made her nervous. (Even if she imagined it, she still hated being stared at.) Her long, curly, brown hair flew behind her as she ran, occasionally getting in her emerald green eyes. She came to a stop at a vendor selling eggs and had finally gotten the last of her list. She paid the man and thanked him before running back to her Aunt's car. Elishia wasn't really her Aunt, but she had lived with her for the past seven years, It only seemed fitting to call her "Aunt". She loaded the bags into the back of the car and headed out to the Inn. Elishia's Inn, that she and her best friend Lily helped run. Lily was Elishia's daughter and Ana's best friend in the world. They had been together for what seemed like an eternity, ever since her parents had dropped her off at Smith's Inn never to be seen again. As she drove through the English countryside, she thought of her parents- and where they might be now. Arriving at the Inn, she noticed there were more cars parked there than usual, One in particular stood out, a big truck. She shrugged it off and went inside, "Ana! You took too long! I was so BORED here without you!" Lily said as she greeted Ana with a hug. Lily took a bag and went into the kitchen. "Pardon me for enjoying being somewhere other than this blasted Inn." Ana murmured. She felt Lily glare at her, but ignored it. It was only the truth, They never got outside unless it was to do errands. Ana and Lily were always with guests, or cleaning, or cleaning after guests. She sighed as she put the last of the food away. "Sorry, So what's with all the automobiles outside?" Ana asked. Lily glanced at the cars and then in the hallway, as to make sure no one would hear them. "A huge group of travelers came, and about three elderly couples." She whispered. Ana rolled her eyes, Like that's anything special, she laughed to herself. "There's actually some very.... attractive ones too." Lily smiled. Ana laughed, "Elderly couples? I didn't know you liked that." Lily grimaced and smacked Ana on the head, "Travelers Idiot, I mean Travelers!" She laughed. About that time, Elishia walked in and Lily got quiet. "What Travelers? The ones that arrived today? What about them?", Elishia asked as she was walking in. Lily and Ana looked at each other. "Nothing Mother, I was just telling Ana we got some travelers today." Lily said. Elishia raised an eyebrow and then walked out, not wanting to hear anymore. "That was close, " Lily sighed of relief, "Here, let's introduce ourselves shall we?" She grinned as she grabbed a tray and placed two cups of tea on it. Ana sighed because she knew she had no choice but to come along. She was always the more reckless one, but Lily was alot more outgoing than she ever desired to be.
