Okay, so this is my first fanfic (for this account ;)). Anyway, I hope it's not too Mary-sue.

I feel so left out, like I am just interrupting them. They were perfect; another person would just ruin it.
Yes, I know I'm not myself. Ever since that night...
Huh, I'm rambling, aren't I? I looked down to where I was sitting and saw Sora, being scolded playfully by Kairi, my best friend. I can see that Sora is happy; being with the one he loves.
My heart fell gradually because I know Sora wouldn't ever be with me. It's not that surprising since most of the boys in our island have a crush on Kairi, including my brother. Kairi is pretty cute. Oh who am I kidding? She's beautiful!
Anyway, they were chatting, when my brother Riku suddenly interrupted them and threw the log at me. It's hard to believe that we are related at all! Riku's hair is silver whereas mine is just black. And our eyes are different too; his are a blue-green colour, more likely aqua whereas mine is a light brown which is almost orange.
Sometimes people see us as best friends, not siblings because of the main difference, but we don't mind.
I focused again on the trio and heard Riku saying in a quite loud voice if you ask me, "Hey, where's Hono?"
Oh no, not again. I tried to duck back into the small room that was built before but I guess I made a loud noise on the wood since Riku swiveled his head and glanced upwards and caught a glimpse of me.
"Aha! Found you," I gave up and went down towards them. I smiled sheepishly and said in a timid voice, "Hey," Riku was frowning. I was surprised that he realized that since that night I had been avoiding them. I guess he's not that bad of a brother after all.
"So, what were we talking about?" Riku asked Kairi. Kairi grinned and said "About me just lazy as Sora is,"
I raised my eyebrow at Sora and he just grinned. "Oh yeah, and you're just as lazy as he is," Riku said and made Kairi giggle.
"So you noticed. Okay, let's finish it together!" By this time, Riku was already sitting next to Sora and they both exclaimed in surprise while I just raised my eyebrows at Kairi. Wow, I tend to raise my eyebrows.
Kairi continued by saying, "Ready? Go!" The two boys looked at each other for a moment and went speeding off. Kairi ran after them for a short while and turned around facing me and said, "Come on!"
I smiled at her thoughtfulness and went to her. She held out her hand gesturing me to hold her hand. At this rate I smiled even wider and we both went running towards Riku and Sora who are almost winning.
Wow, the ending was cheesy right? Anyway, I'll try to continue as soon as I can.
