Disclaimer: Me own Harry Potter? I couldn't come up with something as imaginative as that.

James POV

All I've ever wanted was for Lily Evans to leave me alone.

It seems easy enough doesn't it? Not for her. No, for Lily Evans it seemed like the hardest thing in the world.

Wherever I was she'd be there. Following me around. Trying to talk to me. Trying to hold my hand. Always in my personal space.

I met her before I started at Hogwarts. We'd just moved. I was excited. It was a completely new place, where I could meet new people. And maybe make friends with them.

I had lived all my life in the wizarding world, but then one day we moved to the muggle world. My mother was a muggle and wanted me to experience what living like a muggle was like.

And that's when I saw her. Long red hair, and almond shaped green eyes. She was tall for her age, almost as tall as I was. She was running towards me an excited look on her face.

Before I knew it she was in front of me shaking my hand. More like yanking it.

"Hi I'm Lily Evans!" She said cheerfully.

"James Potter," I mumbled back at her.

"So you're the new neighbours, huh? It's nice to meet you! I was wondering when you were going to come…I mean my mum told me that you were going to come, I just didn't know when." She was still beaming.

"Yeah, we just moved."

"Can I come in?" She said, and before I could answer she was in the house.

We were still moving all the furniture into the house, so it was still pretty empty.

"Can you show me your room?" She said, grabbing my arm and bounding upstairs.

By then, I was really annoyed. Why couldn't this girl just leave me alone? Didn't she get it? I DID NOT like her.

She opened all the doors until she found my room.

I hadn't unpacked all my stuff yet. There were boxes everywhere, and my bed, but other than that my room was completely empty.

She looked around for a bit, then seemed to get bored.

"Do you wanna come over to my house?" Her big green eyes bored into my hazel ones.

"I'm kind of busy…maybe another time? I'm going to help my parents unpack," I said. I needed an excuse to get away from this girl.

She seemed disappointed, but after a second her smile was back on her face.

"Ok! Maybe tomorrow? If you're not busy. My house is the one over there," She said pointing her house out through my window, "You can even see my bedroom window from here!"

"Yeah, maybe I'll see you tomorrow."

"Are you sure you don't want me to help you unpack?" She asked.

"It's ok, we don't need help."

"Oh…I'll see you around then."

"Bye," I said, and then she left.

I watched her as she skipped back to her house.

And from that moment on I realised that Lily Evans was trouble.

And soon I would be going to Hogwarts and wouldn't have to deal with her anymore.

A/N: I know that this is really short, and I totally shouldn't be writing a new story but I had absolutely nothing because my internet connection was down...so I just wrote this. Enjoy, and please review! And like I said I know that this is really short but hopefully I'll be able to make the next chapter longer. Hopefully.
