Kagome silently rocked Inu Yasha back and forth. He was dying. Naraku had
took the Tetsiga and wielded it around. It had transformed before her eyes.
That meant Naraku was a half demon. Omiguna was good to use it for he had
feelings for Kikiyo. She cried out bitterly "It's all my fault, it's my
fault!" She was overcome with a new round of tears. She had pierced
Naraku's shoulder where he had a Shikon jewel shard. He turned and
surrounded her with his poisonous gases. She crumpled into a heap, for she could not
see and felt their was no hope for survival. Naraku being who he was leaped
in for the kill. Inu Yasha with his superior demon senses told him Naraku
was coming in for the kill on Kagome. Kagome neither saw nor heard anything
coming.until she saw a big blur of purple and red. It was Naraku and Inu
Yasha. Naraku had struck Inu Yasha through the heart. Inu Yasha was
beginning to heal when the new moon shone though the hole in the ceiling.
That's when Inu Yasha felt the bitter pain in his chest. He fell to the
ground in a matter of seconds, thanks to his weak human form.
As he lied there dying, he spoke to Kagome. "Please don't blame yourself, it's not your fault!' pausing, because he was coughing up blood, 'besides I couldn't have you live with yourself that way, because. (as the blood flowed more freely from his chest).I.love.y."
He never got to finish. She never got to hear him confess his love. His last memory was of her crying. Her last memory of him was of him was him falling limp in her hands, with his beautiful, beautiful eyes fading. He fell into darkness and all went blank. She cried as he died. He faded from this earth. She wanted to die.
She wanted to kill Naraku.
Naraku was going to kill her.
She fell to her knees as Naraku's blast went through her frail frame. Tearing her to pieces.
As she fell to the ground she spoke her final words. She spoke, "When I hit this ground Naraku, my miko powers will be released, you will die, and I will finally be with my one true love in peace!" By the time she finished, she had hit the ground. Her powers went up through her hands and blasted Naraku into oblivion.
