Prelude: Morning shocks

Sesshomaru awoke slowly, savoring the warmth he was currently curled around. He assumed it was a pillow and burrowed into it. Even as he was being wrapped back into sleep a thought nagged at the back of his mind. 'Since when are my pillows this firm or curvy? Curvy??' He became instantly awake and looked down at the package in his arms. He did a double take and looked down at the arm that had not been there for so long. It looked the perfect replica of his other arm, beautiful and deadly. He finally turned his attenion back to the one in those arms and blinked rapidly twice. It was none other than his half-breed brother's wench, laying gloriusly naked and beautiful on the pillow, hair spread out to frame her neck and shoulders, where a mating mark sat. It was none other than his mark. He became very confused and slightly angry, shaking his head to try and clear his thoughts and make sense of all that was going on around him. His attention was pulled from his revery when she began to stir. His mind siezed in panic for a moment before reason gave way and he thought ' She would know what has occured to put her into this position and survive. I will ask her.' She rose on her arms and opened her eyes to look up at him. For a moment all thought fled his mind. Then she spoke, rocking his world further with her soft and cultured voice. It seemed heavenly, sorft and so far away. Then he realized she was snapping her fingers in front of his face. "Hai?" He said stoicly, turning his attention to her. "Have you heard a word I've said?" She demanded, fire in her eyes and voice. He tippe his head to her. "Gomen. You said something?" She laughed, all fire from her gone. "oh Kami! The Ice Prince apolegized! The world is going to come to an end. I was asking how you are this morning but I think I have my answer." she giggled. Sesshomaru nodded and spoke up of his worries. "My head is very clouded. Would you mind explaining to me what all has occured to bring you here and into my bed?", looking her straight in the eye, all seriosness and frost. She chuckled and sat up and settled into an upright position on the pillows and said "Well it all started..."
