It was a dark and stormy night in the quiet town Ponyville, when a new pony arrived. This pony's name was Anirem, she was a white Pegasus with turquoise hair. Her Cutie Mark was a thunderbolt with wings. She was blown into Ponyville in hopes of finding a warm, dry place to stay. She was blown into the Everfree Forest. Soon she came upon a vast, dark castle. The castle was falling apart, its structure was made up of broken old bricks and was enveloped in thick, gnarly vines.

"Well at least it will be dry and warm." Said Anirem. She started on towards the castle.

"BOOM!" Anirem scurried quickly into the castle shivering and wet.

"At last! A dry place!" She walked further in and located a big, soft, ornate rug. She collapsed onto the rug and fell immediantly into a deep long-awaited slumber. "AAAH!" A sharp flash of lighting and a big crack of thunder jerked Anirem out of her deep sleep. She jumped to her hooves, startled. Frightened Anirem took off sprinting, not paying attention. She heard the eerie sound of echoing hooves. Anirem tried to come to a sudden stop, tripping over her own hooves then finally skidding to a halt. "Hello?" She called nervously. But no one answers. She shakily continues and reaches a creaky old staircase. She slowly walks up it feeling followed.

"Now Anirem, there is nothing to be afraid of. It's just an old abandoned castle." Anirem is famished and is sluggish because she is so tired. So cold, narrow passageway in hopes of finding old chambers with inviting beds. Finally, after searching for what seemed like eternity she found an old chamber with its door ajar. A skimpy bed was shoved in the corner.

"Oh well, this will have to do," she entered the dark chamber. A spooky white light from the full moon spewed from the cracked window. And there, lurking in the shadows were two shimmering red eyes. They were trained on Anirem. She froze, scared out of her mind.

"HELP!" She shrieks. Anirem bolted off as fast as her legs could carry her. She peeks over her shoulder but only hears mysteries echoing hooves. She slowly comes to a stop. Trying to regain her composure she calls, "who is there?" But there is once again no answer. Anirem takes a deep breath, and says to herself "I've had enough of this! I am going home!" It was a journey she had tried to avoid by staying in Ponyville. But Ponyville just wasn't as suitable as she had imagined. Anirem darts down the stairs and quickly bolts to the door. She tugs on the door, only to find it won't open. Frustrated Anirem groans loudly. "This wasn't locked before!" Anirem screams in fear. "How do I get out?!" Anirem yells into the darkness. She suddenly hears something slowly sneaking in.

"Come with me, I know the way out." A hollow voice says to her. At the end Anirem hears a hint of evil amusement in the pony's voice. Anirem heard the pony's hooved clopping away. Feeling as if she had no choice, Anirem follows the mysterious pony. She was lead down a hallway she hadn't noticed before. A large, highly decorated door loomed ahead at the very end of the hallway. She involuntarily gulped. As they approached the door fear seized Anirem.

"We aren't going there… are we?" Anirem squeaked.

"Stop asking questions." The pony's voice was steely and annoyed.

"But I don't…" Anirem stuttered.

"SILENCE!" Bellowed the pony.

"Okay." Whispered Anirem. The door flung suddenly open. Anirem slowly followed the mysterious pony. When she entered the door slammed behind her. She heard the lock click. She was suddenly alone, and it was silent. Her eyes darted from side to side. A bed and a window were the only things with her. Maybe she could climb out of the window. Surprisingly the window opened. She gazed outside. There was an old bare tree. She started slowly climbing out of the window…
