CHAPTER ONE

Her blonde hair fluttered in the wind as she sat on the branch in the trees. He was climbing up to sit with her and scope out the area. They wanted to make sure nothing and no one was nearby, no problems could occur if there is no source.

"So Star, you're sure about this?" Marco asked as he neared the branch she was sitting on.

"Yea, absolutely! What could go wrong?" She flipped a strand of hair out of her face.

"Girl with a magic wand who doesn't know that many spells, where one mispronunciation can turn a spell to fix an arm into a spell which EXPLODES an arm. Yea, what can go wrong?"

"EXACTLY!" Star smiled brightly.

Marco sighed.

"You don't understand sarcasm do you?"

"NOPE!" Star held her wand up. "Okay first spell… CANDY RAIN!" Stars eyes lit up as she pointed her wand to the sky. "Candius, Rainus, Domestica!" Light burst from the wand and candy started falling from the sky. "SEE Marco! Nothing to worry about!"

"Yet…"

"Okay…" Star flipped through the instruction book. "What next… what next…" Star stopped flipping and came to a spell which interested her. "It's written in an ancient language. GLITTER RAIN BOMBER!"

A whirring was heard overhead followed by the sound of something falling.

"STAR! LOOK OUT!" Marco and Star leapt from their tree to an adjacent as the bomb hit the branch and exploded in a glittery fireball. Marco and star both started coughing.

"WHY WOULD YOU SUMMON A BOMB?! DIRECTLY ABOVE US!"

"I don't know! I just thought it was glitter rain." Star frowned.

"Did the word BOMBER, not mean anything to you?" Marco yelled.

"I'm sorry Marco. How-"
"No I don't want any sunshine to brighten my day, thank you." Marco interrupted. "Just… never do that spell again. Let's just continue."

"Oooooooooo…" Stars eyes lit up again "RAINBOW TRAMPOLINE!" Star pointed her wand to the ground and a trampoline of fluorescent colors appeared on the forest ground.

The two of them jumped and bounced on the trampoline and started flipping and doing tricks.

"How's this?!" Star asked.

"THIS… IS AWESOME!"

Suddenly a white glowing line appeared in midair.

"Star… what are you doing?"

"Uhhhh that's not me!" Star gasped as she realized what the cause of this line was.

Distraction one of her training.

"LUDO! How did you know I was HERE?"

"Well since bullfrog has been spyin- WAIT! I DON'T HAVE TO TELL YOU ANYTHING! Why do I always do that? Oh and my minions have been working out now, so we won't be taken out so easily."

Ludo's minions charged at Star and Marco, and Marco took out one with a karate chop, and Star shot a narwhal blast taking out four. However they were still outnumbered 12 to 2.

"Star you can do that spell now!" The minions started closing in.

"You mean the one you told me to NEVER EVER do again?"

"Yes! That would be the one!"

"OK… Glitter… Rain Bomb!"

"Move on my count… One…" The faint whistle grew slightly louder. "Two…" The whistle grew even louder. "THREE!" Marco grabbed Star and jumped out of the circle of closing minions. The whistle ceased and there was an explosion of glitter and when the cloud cleared no one was there. Not even Ludo.
