Blue and Green: A Toontown Fanfiction

Chapter 1

Kong looked at the clock impatiently. His class was almost over, yet the professor kept on rambling about some stupid science theory. He really needed to get home if he wanted to make this new video. He was going to be live streaming himself playing Toon Fortress 2. After what seemed like hours, the professor dismissed them, and Kong was the first one out the door. As he stepped outside, he looked around.

He was attending TTCU, not the best college, but a very good one. He didn't have any friends there; half of his friends were still in High school. As a matter of fact, the only friend he could think of that was in college was Bingo, but he went to school in Daisy's Gardens. "It's awfully lonely here," said Kong to himself. He always thought about making new friends, but his shyness always got the best of him. All of his classes were over for the day, so he put on some headphones while blasting music by The Killers. "Jeeeaalousy, turning saints intoooo the sea," he was singing as he walked into his house.

He had acquired a very decent amount of money from all of his videos, so he had a nice estate and an expensive doodle. The money he got from being so famous was also how he was able to attend such a good college. As he took off his headphones, he noticed his phone ringing. When he picked up his phone, he saw that Bingo was calling him on Skype. He answered, and saw Bingo with a big, childish smile on his face. "Hey, you seem happy," said Kong. "Well, that's 'cause I have good news!" Bingo replied with his subtle Southern accent. "I just got a scholarship to TTCU, so now I'm transferring!" Kong smiled. "That's great! When's your first day?"

"Tomorrow."

"Wait a minute.. You live pretty far. Did you get a dorm or apartment closer to campus?" Bingo hesitated. "Well, that's the catch. Apartments and dorms are expensive, and I don't have a lot of money on me right now," he said. With a dry chuckle he added, "I guess I'll just have to leave home early and get some coffee." Kong felt sorry for Bingo. If he had to do that everyday, the gas for his kart or the money for bus/train fare would cost just as much as a dorm. Kong had an idea, but then he pushed it out of his mind. "Well, see you in class tomorrow I guess," Kong said. They said their goodbyes, and Kong started his live stream.

The next day at lunch time, Kong walked to the cafeteria. Bingo told his friend to meet him there so they could eat together. But when Kong got there, he found Bingo with head down on the table, snoring and even drooling a little. Kong sighed. If this was how Bingo reacted to a long drive the first day, he wouldn't be able to survive the rest of the semester. Kong thought again of the idea he had the previous night. He decided he could do it if Bingo wanted to.

Finally, Kong poked the sea green dog. "Wake up," he said, "you can't go on like this. I have a solution for you... How would you like to live with me?" Bingo stared at him, wide-eyes. "L-live with you? Are you sure it wouldn't be too much trouble?" he asked. Kong shook his head and sat down. "Of course not! You've seen my estate; it's got plenty of room for two. Call me as soon as you're ready to move in. Now I gotta go, my next class is about to start." Kong left, realizing what he had just done, and he smiled.
