Admit It~

The words spilled from the lips of the Oriental teenager with a giggle. "Hoagie Gilligan?"

Abby Lincoln rarely got embarrassed and she never blushed. But, as her friend smiled goofily at her, an uncomfortable heat rose up her neck and into her cheeks. The dark-skinned girl dropped her chin to her chest and rubbed her hand across her neck. "He's…charming, OK?"

Kuki giggled again.

"Well, more like witty, Abby guesses."

Another giggle, Kuki was getting annoying. Abby sighed and pulled her cap down to cover more of her face. "I wouldn't be talkin', Little Miss Hopelessly Devoted to the Biggest Jock Ever," she replied.

Kuki scowled; the expression looking almost comical on her cute face. "Someday," she began, defiantly, "Wally Beatles will realize what he is missing out on."

"Keep tellin' yourself that, girl," Abby intoned. She turned back to eating her sandwich.

Her ebony haired friend said nothing, obviously a little miffed. The two girls ate in complete silence for a few moments. Then, "Hoagie Gilligan" and snickering.

The worn, red cap was off Abby's head in a heartbeat and she smacked the girl sitting opposite her. "Let's just imagine Abby never said that, a'ight?"
