One Dark Night
Disclaimer: ...Do I really need this section anymore?
Author's note: Sorry for the slump. In addition to all those suspensions, I ran out of ideas for stories. It happens to the best of us. Oh, and due to circumstances I'd rather not discuss, I won't be using script format this time around.
Remember when reviewing: Don't lie under any circumstances, and don't report me unless you feel it's absolutely necessary.

Chapter 1: Full Moon -
Rouge the Bat was lying in her bed. Her wings were folded up neatly, and the nearby window was closed and latched. The Big Dipper and Taurus were visible through the window.
On this particular night, the moon was full. A crystal-clear moonbeam shone through the window, was refracted by a jewel in a display case in her room, and shined directly onto Rouge's face.
Rouge got up and drew the blinds. She then went back to bed. Any bystanders would have noticed a slightly evil look in Rouge's eyes. However, there was nobody else around.
The next day, Rouge seemed to be perfectly normal. That is, as normal as a hybrid bat with an obsession with jewels ever gets. (Whoops... I think I blew the mood there)
Over at the beach, Amy was reading a comic book. "It was the destiny of Django, the Solar Boy, to fight off vampires using his GunDelSol. He was accompanied by Otenko, the Sun Spirit, on his journeys..."
At that moment, Tails approached Amy. "Hi, Amy. Did you see the full moon last night?" "Yeah, I saw it," Amy replied. "It was so beautiful, I almost wanted to howl at it."
"What are you reading?" Tails asked. "Nothing much," said Amy. "Just a comic book. Django, the Solar Boy. It's pretty cool. The newsstand was having a sale, so I picked one up."
"Cool. Mind if I read over your shoulder?"
"Go right ahead. Just don't try to turn the page before I'm done with it."
Tails sat down next to Amy.

Short chapter? Yeah, I know. But I like to keep my audience on edge. Try not to fall off, please.
