I have no idea where I'm going with this story. This is the first chapter and I have no idea as to how long the story will be. But, I will be constantly working on it, although there is no guarantee as to when each update will appear.
Anyway, I know this chapter seems really depressing and sad. If you want to know how the story will end - good scenario or bad scenario - PM me. I won't say too much though ;D
I don't own Doctor Who, it just owns me.
The Doctor, filled with despair and hopelessness, cried. He cried for Amy. He cried for Rory. He cried for his very existence. He cried for the sake of crying.
Everything was his fault. Amy was gone, locked away, deep inside the Dante's Inferno of the universe. And the Doctor was powerless.
He couldn't just SONIC his way through that section of space.
He couldn't send his TARDIS into the middle of that hell.
And it was all because of him.
It was a simple enough task: entering coordinates into the TARDIS's control panel and waiting for it to land in the desired location.
But the Doctor had made a mistake. He had forgotten to factor in the slight movement of celestial bodies that happens slowly over time.
He was one point off, but it made all the difference.
Amy had been so excited, so full of life, so carefree. She trusted the Doctor.
Bad move.
The worst part was knowing that she was still alive. At least if she was dead, she'd be at peace. Out of her misery.
Instead, she has endured three months of unspeakable afflictions.
"DOCTOR! NOO! PLEASE DON'T LET ME GO!"
Amy held on to his hands so tightly she could feel his bones crunching under her fingers.
She was terrified.
The Doctor could still clearly remember that look in her young eyes, suddenly vulnerable, no longer the strong-willed sassy Scottish woman he had come to love.
She knew there was no chance of her being saved, but she hoped, prayed, pleaded for her life. Bargained with God.
But even a Time Lord can't save everyone.
He yelled an "I love you!" before Amy was ripped from his hands, flung into the depths of the black hole.
The Doctor was in denial. Shock.
Safe within the walls of the TARDIS, he was numb.
The TARDIS herself was silent.
He knew enough about space to know that black holes are simply paths to get from point A to point B. They themselves are harmless, although powerful enough to tear a girl from a Time Lord's hands.
The exit, though, was the dangerous part.
After researching the TARDIS's database, he learned the grim truth: Amy had been transported right in the middle of the Inferno.
Even space has its hell.
"Um...hello?" Amy called out.
She had been thrown around in a tornado of gravity and time, only to end up in an empty stone-walled room.
Her bones were sore from the impact of the rocks against her body. Her hands ached from holding on to the Doctor.
Her heart was broken.
She was alone, no Doctor, no Rory, no anything.
At least, she thought she was alone.
A snake-like creature weaved his way through the pebbled floor, finding his way to Amy.
The animal glanced at her, stuck out his tongue, then dissolved.
Gas was sprayed into the chamber.
Amy saw black.
The Doctor spent his time devouring information about this Inferno.
He read and called other galaxies and listened to tapes and watched documentaries.
He had never needed to know this information until now.
The Inferno was a decently-sized galaxy floating around the spot where the universe originated.
The population inhabiting the planets within the galaxy were anything but decent.
Demons, snakes, blood-suckers, cannibals, rapists, murderers. The worst of the worst came here to be isolated from the nice parts of the universe.
There were no rules, no government.
The only limitation was that they were bound to the galaxy, but whatever they did inside was up to them.
So when the criminals there learned that there was a human girl in their midst, they went absolutely nuts.
When Amy woke up, she was dazed.
The first thing she noticed was the water. It was beating down on her, a steady stream of hard, sharp daggers.
The second thing she noticed was the color white. The cold tile.
Only then did she realize that she was nude and chained to a pole by her ankle.
Still too drugged to panic, she slowly waded through her messy observations.
Looking up, she saw a faucet-like contraption pouring out hot water.
Looking to her right, she saw many squares of marble tile.
To her left, the same marble tile.
To the floor, the tile again.
Even the pole was white.
The chain on her ankle was biting into her skin, tearing it and cutting it, sending down little streams of blood.
When the sharp little pain hit her, she was jolted awake.
Amy tried to struggle out of her restraint. No luck.
"Hey guys, look, the little bitch is awake!"
She heard many men say something in reply.
Rotating around, she tried to locate the source of the voices.
There, behind her, was a large window, open to the main part of the town. People could see in, she could see out.
A door clicked open.
"Hey there, pretty li'l thang. Thanks for joinin' our get-tagether we got here," the man in front of her faked a look of gratitude.
"Who are you? Where am I?" Amy couldn't muster up a tough facade.
"Don't worry baby, we'll take care of ya."
Haha so yea, that's my attempt at a first chapter.
