Chap. 1-Devil in Her Eyes
All righty! Here's the first chapter of the sequel to Dream in Black and White! :D
I'll try to keep this going, though I may not have regular updates. But we shall see~
So this is both ZelImpa and Shink but it sort of mostly focuses on the Shink aspect...? Well maybe a bit of both. :3
This story has two arcs but I won't be saying like 'this is arc 1' or whatever; you guys will have to figure out when we switch to arc two xD
Anyway, I don't own LoZ ):
Please Read and Review. :D
Impa meticulously sharpened her knife, smoothing the surface until it was smooth and glistening.
After months of still getting accustomed to being alive, the Sheikah decided to keep herself bus when she wasn't able to sleep by either polishing her knives or finishing her shawl that was reminiscent of the one she had worn…back then.
Impa paused in her movements when she almost cut her finger before setting the dagger down and touching the inactive Time Shift stone hanging around her neck.
Sometimes it was difficult to keep her mind from wandering back to the past. Impa had to remember that her time in that life was long gone and to focus on the current era.
The Sheikah glanced up when she sensed someone pass by the opening to the living room and stop at the threshold.
Sheik stared at her and she gazed back quietly before Sheik continued on his way, opening the front door and going outside.
Impa stood up, picking up the forgotten knife and slipping it beneath the bandages covering her left forearm before following after the blond.
Sheik stood underneath a tree, balancing himself on his hands and using the trunk of the tree to support himself.
Impa faintly remembered the reversed meditation technique she had come up with; a handstand to clear the mind.
Sheik opened an eye, watching her briefly before closing his eye and resuming his meditation.
Sensing that as an invitation, Impa went to Sheik's side and set her hands against the ground, flipping herself onto them and closing her eyes.
Sheik had been gracious in helping her train and remember certain Sheikah fighting styles.
Link helped Impa further that battle technique.
Zelda taught her how to use a bow and arrow correctly so Impa could utilize different weapons.
They were all helping her and Impa couldn't be more grateful to all three of them.
Link strolled toward the house, pulling Epona by the reins, having just returned from his morning run. He paused when he saw the two Sheikah in their meditation poses and looked at Epona who snorted as if to say I don't know.
Link removed the bridle and saddle from Epona, taking them into the house and setting them by the door before heading back into the mid-morning heat.
"If you are trying to sneak up on us, Hero, you are doing an awful job of it." Sheik muttered when Link began to quietly approach the two Sheikah.
Link pouted slightly as he dropped into a crouch in front of Sheik.
"What are you two doing?"
"Meditating." Sheik responded, not opening his eyes as he balanced himself on one hand, shaking his other hand before switching hands to shake his right one. "Which requires quiet."
"Oh." Link looked between Sheik and Impa, still not quite sure how doing a handstand was considered meditating.
Sheik relaxed slightly as his mind began to empty.
"Can I join you?"
Sheik resisted the urge to flinch as his concentration was shattered, heaving a sigh.
"If you can be quiet." Sheik relented, making sure to stress the word quiet so Link got the message.
Link perked up at the invitation, going to Sheik's other side and flipping on his hands.
He closed his eyes, trying to remain as straight as possible.
Mediating wasn't his forte, but he did enjoy it since it gave him time to reflect and he got to be by Sheik's side.
Link glanced at Sheik to see what he was doing before closing his eyes again, shifting from hand to hand as he tried to relax.
"Hero…" Sheik warned in a low tone, sensing that Link was getting antsy.
"I'm sorry. I'll stop." Link whispered as he stopped moving and tried to meditate.
Impa steadfastly ignored the two, remaining still as a statue as she breathed slowly.
Finally, Link couldn't stand it anymore and flopped onto his back with a groan.
Sheik disregarded him, choosing to focus on his meditation as he shifted from hand to hand to shake out the pins and needles.
Link looked at Sheik before rolling over on his stomach and resting his chin on his arm, settling on watching the Sheikah.
"Stop staring at me, Hero." Sheik mumbled, staring to lose his concentration as he felt the blond's gaze on him, causing the back of his neck to prickle.
Link scowled slightly before sliding up to Sheik and pushing his mask down under his chin.
"What are you doing, Hero?" Sheik sighed, but made no move to stop the blond, still futilely trying to retreat to the far corners of his mind.
"Nothing." Link replied innocently, running his hands down the sides of Sheik's neck and smirking triumphantly when the Sheikah barely suppressed a shiver.
Sheik opened his eyes and scowled at the blond, already sensing that Link was plotting something.
"Link."
Link almost backed off when Sheik said his name, but fought the urge. The blond was already struggling against the desire to kiss the Sheikah and that was rapidly becoming a losing battle.
Just as Link was about to lean closer to Sheik, the Sheikah lowered himself to the ground before springing up and over Link, landing quietly on his feet behind the blond.
"If you wanted to battle, you could have just said so."
Link pouted slightly as he looked back at Sheik who was brushing off his hands.
He didn't want to battle…
It was one of the hottest Augusts that Hyrule had ever experienced and as Zelda rode back to the summer house after her visit with her father she couldn't wait to take a dip in Lake Hylia.
Or take a cold bath.
Zelda pulled on the reins to stop the white stallion she was riding as she noticed Link and Sheik mock-battling while Impa watched nearby.
She sighed, shaking her head as she slid down from Blizzard, taking off the stallion's bridle and saddle.
The horse wandered to the lake as Zelda went inside the house to drop off Blizzard's riding supplies, starting to drink the cool lake water.
Zelda exited the house minutes later, tying her hair into a ponytail, and witnessed Sheik knocking Link onto his back.
Link pouted while Sheik smirked underneath his mask before holding out his hand and helping the blond to his feet.
As Sheik went to sit beneath the nearby tree, Link looked at Impa.
"Want to train with me?"
Impa glanced up from her meditation before slowly standing up, pulling a knife out from her bandages.
"I bet you can't wield a sword."
Impa paused and looked at Link who appeared confident with his bold statement.
Impa replaced her dagger, staring at Link indifferently even though her pride was slightly ruffled.
"Hand me a blade then, Link."
Link headed inside the house, grabbing the training sword he had brought and went back outside to hand it to Impa.
Impa held up her sword in an offense position as Link held the Master Sword in the same position.
Link waited for several seconds before he dashed at Impa, raising his sword to strike.
The Sheikah blocked before counterattacking, Link deflecting her strike.
Their swords continued clanging as Link tried to get an upper hand on the Sheikah.
Before he could implement an idea on how to beat Impa, the Sheikah caught her sword against the slightly curved edge of the Master Sword's guard, twisting the sword out of Link's hand and catching the sword's grip in her free hand.
As she caught the sword, Impa lashed out with a low kick to knock Link on his back and pointed both swords at the blond's neck, overlapping them so they formed a scissor ready to slice at Link's throat.
Link stared at Impa in surprise while Zelda cackled and even Sheik looked amused.
"I win." Impa said, withdrawing the swords and flipping the Master Sword up, catching it by the blade and holding the handle out to Link.
Link gave a slight scowl as he grabbed the handle, allowing Impa to pull him to his feet before drawing the Master Sword back and sheathing it.
He gave a small bow, Impa returning the gesture, before he went to sit underneath the shady tree with Sheik and Zelda.
Zelda gave Link some of the water she had brought out with her as Sheik stood up and approached Impa.
The taller Sheikah appeared surprised by Sheik's approach and obvious wish for combat before she gave a slow bow, Sheik copying her.
Impa set down the training sword, pulling out a knife from the bandages on her arms.
Sheik did the same and both Sheikah crouched down faintly.
Zelda and Link watched as the two disappeared and the din of knives ringing against each other and striking trees filled the air.
Impa sighed as she sank down into the lukewarm water that occupied the tub, pushing the strand of her hair that hung in her face back so it blended with the rest of her short hair.
The training session with Sheik had ended in a tie with her managing to pin him to the ground, a knife at his throat.
She hadn't been surprised to feel Sheik's blade pressed against the back of her neck.
Aunt Impa had trained him well and Impa was proud to be able to train against him.
Impa ran a hand down her arm, wiping off the dirt and sweat that had built up during the day.
"Impa?"
Impa looked up, surprised to see Zelda standing beside the tub.
"…Zelda?"
Zelda smiled, clasping her hands behind her back as she rocked back and forth.
"Can I join you?"
Impa appeared puzzled but gave a slow nod, deciding that if they shared the tub it would create less water waste.
Zelda perked up at the permission and immediately stripped, barely giving Impa time to politely turn her back so the princess had some privacy while undressing.
Impa kept her back to Zelda as the princess climbed into the tub, slowly continuing to wash her arms.
Zelda watched Impa's slender back before she gradually smiled and put her hands against the Sheikah's back, becoming amused when Impa startled slightly.
"Let me wash your back."
"I can—" Impa started to protest but Zelda interrupted her.
"I insist."
Impa relented, allowing Zelda to gently rub her back.
The Sheikah relaxed, leaning into the ministrations as she closed her eyes.
Zelda didn't fail to notice Impa's relaxation, withdrawing her hands.
"Now you get my back."
Impa slowly turned around, becoming surprised when she was pushed against the back of the tub and Zelda was looming over her.
The Sheikah flushed heavily when the princess pressed their hips together, trying to pull away from Zelda.
Her efforts were in vain as she was effectively pinned between the back of the tub and Zelda.
"Y-your Grace…" Impa muttered as Zelda leaned closer to her.
Zelda responded with a quiet shush, pressing her lips against the side of Impa's neck.
It was at the moment that Link happened to walk into the bathroom since Impa kept the door open, expecting people to knock before they entered.
He took one look at them before immediately turning and striding out of the bathroom.
"Sheik! Your sister's trying to molest Impa!"
Zelda scowled after her tattletale cousin before looking back at Impa with a grin.
"I think we have five minutes."
Before Zelda could kiss Impa again, Sheik picked her up by the back of her neck.
"What have I told you about trying to seduce her?"
"But she needs me!" Zelda protested as Sheik carried her out of the bathroom.
"What she needs is you not trying to molest her while she's bathing."
Impa slowly relaxed as the arguing faded, releasing a slow sigh.
There was a little bit of devil in Zelda's angel eyes.
Honestly, Impa, you should know Zelda's a little devil xD
Anyway, hopefully pretty soon we shall get to even more action and awesomeness but so far this will just be peace. :3
Maybe chapter 3 or 4 will kick off the start of 'shit is gonna happen' or something. My friend and I haven't really...planned out anything other than basic ideas of what's gonna happen.
Anywhoo, I hope you enjoyed.
Please remember to Read and Review. :D
