My Hero Academia...

The looming view of the city stood out like no other, the sunset's light gleamed against the glass of various buildings.

"In this world..."

The light seemed to shimmer throughout the air. The cool early fall breeze called to the city, telling them that the flaming heat of summer will soon be extinguished.

"...more than eighty percent of the human population..."

A loud boom erupted from a nearby building. Glass expelling from a window, roughly twelve stories up, a man wearing a hockey mask began plummeting, carrying a briefcase in his arms.

"...has some sort of ability or quirk…"

He began to slowly descend to the ground. The wind lightly released him.

"...but, I mean since you are here, you must know that already…"

He began running full speed, a gun in one hand, briefcase in another. He kept up the pace with the hard sound of his sneakers hitting the concrete sidewalk beneath him.

"When these powers emerged, at first, there were no regulations. People began abusing their powers. They became known as villains."

He began pushing and shoving through the panicked crowd.

"But some people stood up to those villains. The became known as Heroes."

A single man jumped out from an alleyway and slammed his fist into the side of the villain running away, knocking him to the ground with a heavy thud.

"The government released restrictions on quirks as they became more common. The world as we had known had changed."

The hero looked down at the winded villain, a smile plastered on their face. He removed his wristwatch and put it on the villain.

"Heroes became a licensed form of law enforcement, that required training. They were police who were able to use their quirks, essentially."

With a touch, the watch became a pair of handcuffs that restrained the villains arms behind his back. He picked up the villain over his shoulder and began running to a police station.

"Those who ignored said restrictions and break the law to do so are treated as villains, but are formally called Vigilantes."

Elsewhere, a villain held a woman against a wall, a knife held to their neck. Her cries went unheard by heroes, by police, by any bystanders…

"These vigilantes sometimes resort to the worst possible form of saving a life…"

When the villain's laughs suddenly stopped and a look of horror overtook his face, a bit of blood dripped from his lip. He looked down at the blood coated protrusion that leaked from his t-shirt.

"By taking another…"

A bunny masked person stood behind him, donning a white hoodie, brandishing the machete that had just pierced the villain's lung pulled him off the woman. They pointed down the alley towards an escape for the victim.

-UA ACADEMY AUDITORIUM-

"You are all gathered here for the last part of your exams. You are here because you want to be the heroes that stop Villains and help correct the vigilantes!" A tall red haired woman, with a white bow in her hair says to the students ahead.

The crowd of students sitting in the auditorium of the famous UA Academy begin nodding with pride.

"If you are sitting here today, you have passed your written exams! And momentarily, you be taking one of three physical exams, based on your application and where we see you would perform best, based on your traits, quirks, and requested positions!" the red haired woman informs them.

A young boy with short brown hair, a cocky smile, and blue eyes that were hidden by his hair felt light hearted by this speech. He felt his necklace shift over his chest. His striped shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers felt a bit out of place with the rest of student's formal attire.

"If you check the PDAs handed out to you individually when you arrived, you will see where you have to go! Please be careful not to stumble into the wrong locations! When you arrive, you will be told about what is going to happen!"

A girl with short very messy black hair and tired purple eyes has her suit lazily and sloppily put on. She is quite obviously exhausted. She yawns into an air filter that she puts into her pocket.

"Also, please do your best not to use your quirks until you are instructed to!"

Another boy, this one sharply dressed in a black suit scoffs. He doesn't take anyone in the room seriously. His wellkept silver hair droops over his shoulder and his crimson eyes watch over the room carefully.

"Please, at this time, check your PDAs and head out to your designated areas!"

Everyone looks at their PDAs and begin cheering in excitement as they depart.

The boy in the striped shirt looked at his PDA with a grin. The girl looked at hers nervously. The groomed boy frowned seeing that he was in an undesired course.

Author's Note: This story takes place in an alternative universe where none of the canon characters existed, with the exception of All Might and All for One, who exist in comic books and stories with the story. It should be noted as well with my Tokyo Ghoul story, (currently on Hiatus due to issues involving a friend who is too lazy to continue helping with the story.) that the chapters will be longer, and should average around 1,000 - 1,500 per chapter from here on out. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy my take on My Hero Academia as well as my idea of the Gifted Hero Program. If you like it so far, you should follow the story and maybe even me, if you want. Also, please read my about me for any information regarding requests. Again, thank you for your attention and I hope you all enjoy your day or night.
