Well, just a short one shot just to get out of my writer block, sorry for keeping you on hold so long concerning my story "Prince and Servant, is that all we'll ever be?", but I actually dunno what to do with it... perhaps you can leave an idea when you review this one?

The sun stood high and white, fluffy clouds chased each other over the skies.
Merlin smiled slightly as he and Will walked towards the forest, axes in their hands.
"Oh come on!" His one year younger friend said, almost jumping up and down of excitement. "You have to show me!"
Merlin shook his head, still with a smile upon his lips.
"I've told you almost a thousand times, Will", he said calmly. "Mother would kill me if she knew that you knew about my magic."
Will just laughed with shining eyes, knowing that as soon as they were out of sight from the village, Merlin would no longer being able not to show him his skills.
So, he just kept nagging until he gave in.
"Okay, okay", Merlin raised his hands in a way of saying 'I give up'. "Step away and look closely, 'cause I'll only do this once."
Will nodded and stepped back.
With a childish smile Merlin raised his hand and his eyes sparkled of gold.
Leaves lifted from the ground and started to dance around, as if they were carried by a soft breeze, even though there was no wind this day. Will stared at them with amusement in his brown eyes.
After a while, Merlin lowered his hand and the leaves fell down to the ground.
"So, now I've showed you", he said with laughter in his voice, how wonderful it felt when he had someone else to talk with about his magic except of his mother. Someone that didn't judge him.
"Well-", Will started as he gave the axes a meaning look. Merlin shook his head, knowing immediately what the boy meant.
"No, Will", he said and kept walking. "That's too dangerous."
"Come on Merlin, why can't you just admit that you can't do it?" Will teased him with a broad smile upon his pink lips.
Merlin glared at him, taking his words as a challenge.
"Yea?" He said with his eyes as slits. "Tell me which tree you want me to cut down and I'll show you."
Will smiled victorious and looked around, then he saw a big oak almost seventeen feet high.
"That one", he said and pointed towards it. Merlin nodded and looked at it with concentrated eyes.
Once again he raised his hand and the bright eyes shimmered with gold.
To the two boy's amusement, the tree started to fall –breaking sounds coming as smaller trees had to make way for the bigger one.
"Oh no", Merlin whispered as he saw which direction the tree fell at. "That's not good."
Will saw what he meant and with scared faces they started to run towards the houses not that far from there.
They freeze as they came out of the forest, watching the oak tree fall directly towards old Messer's roof.
"Oh no!" Merlin repeated - eyes wide of fear as the tree cracked through the wooden roof.
They could see the old man where he stood at his acre, shouting with anger as he ran towards his damaged house.
Then, Will and Merlin looked at each other, for a moment they were both silent, but then; they started to laugh.
"He'll hate me even more after this", Merlin said as he gasped for air. "Even if he can't prove it was me, he will surely believe it was."
Will only nodded, not able to speak as he still lay on the ground, twirling of laughter with tears falling down his cheeks.
Merlin let out a pleased sigh, how nice it was to have a friend like Will – he just hoped that it could be like this forever.
Don't forget the review now! And if you're reading my other Merlin ff (the one that I spoke of in the beginning) then perhaps you could come up with some good idea? I really shouldn't have brought an evil Lancelot into the story... so typical me.
