I sat up in the room where my companions and I shared. My eyes drifted from the window to someone special… Sakura.

I can remember the day where I first met Sakura. I was there with my foster father meeting His Majesty and the Princess. His Majesty was tall and had long dark hair. He talked to my father as I starred at the little person clinging to his side. A little girl with short light brown hair starred back at me. A small smile lit up her kind face. I could feel myself blushing…

I forced my gaze back to the night scenery outside. We had just landed in another world where it seemed that nighttime was actually more beautiful than the day…

The fire that they said would burn just lights up the way

My thoughts suddenly fell upon the day when I realized I was alive… It was raining, pouring even, and I was just sitting there in the dirty drenched streets. Hugging my knees with bandages all over me… I starred out unthinkingly into the dark…

And three years on, the nine day wonder

Even though it was my now foster father who saved me from that street life, I wasn't completely saved…

Then that little smiling girl entered my life…

I have her right here… right before me… and yet she is so far away. She can't remember me or that glorious day when we had first met…

I'd love things to go back the way they were before but that's impossible now too. But that's all gone now... I don't want to forget but i don't want to remember either...

Author's note: KYAAAAH!! I love Tsubasa and I thought this matched Syaoran-kun pretty well. I felt like doing something for him… This was meant to the Syaoran earlier in the series. Poor Syaoran-kun... gotta love him.
