-Dragon: In this piece of fluff, Hiro is five years old and Tadshi is nineteen years old. The fire never happened because Hiro is younger in this.

Disclaimer: I do not own Big Hero 6 or any of the characters. If I did Tadashi would still be alive.

Five year old Hiro Hamada looked around the room. It was the middle of the night and Hiro was shaking like a leaf being blown in the wind. BOOM! Hiro let out a little squeak and crawled under his blankets. He hated thunderstorms, always had. Hiro curled into a little ball and covered his eyes. BOOOM! This one was louder and longer than the others. Hiro jumped up with the covers still draped over his head. Hiro's eyes were wide when he yelled, "Dashi!"

Nineteen year old Tadashi Hamada sat up so quickly he fell on the floor with an oof. Tadashi pushed open his divider and rushed into his little brother's part of the room. "Hiro!?" Tadashi looked toward his brother's bed to see a small bundle of blankets shaking and hear sniffling. Tadashi went to the bundle and pulled the blankets off, only to find his baby brother. A small frown appeared on Tadashi's face as he took in his brother's appearance. There were tears in his big, brown eyes and he was holding his blanket so tightly his knuckles were white. "Hiro? What's wrong buddy?" Tadashi asked softly. The dams in Hiro's eyes broke and the tears spilled over.

Hiro jumped into Tadashi's arms, sending the older brother off balance. When Tadashi steadied himself, he wrapped his arms around his younger brother. "Th-the th-thunderstorm sc-scared me." Hiro stuttered. Tadashi frowned sadly, not liking when his brother cried, and rubbed circles in Hiro's back. They stayed like that for five minutes or so until Hiro calmed down. Once Hiro's breathing got under control, Tadashi pulled back to look at him. His eyes were droopy from crying and he kept swaying back and forth. Tadashi smiled a little thinking of how cute his brother looked when he was tired.

Tadashi picked up Hiro and the boy clung to his neck. Tadashi bent to put Hiro into his bed, when Hiro whimpered, "No, stay with Dashi." Tadashi chuckled softly. Well, he couldn't say no to his baby brother. Tadashi walked over to his own bed and crawled into his covers with Hiro still in his arms. Tadashi looked down at his brother, only to find him asleep. BOOM! Hiro tightened his hold on his brother, but didn't wake up. Tadashi smiled and, finally, sleep took hold of him.

The Next Mourning…

Aunt Cass had just finished making breakfast when she decided to go wake up her boys. She headed toward the stairs, thinking about the storm they had last night. Aunt Cass had finally made her way up the stairs and to the boy's room. She opened the door, expecting to see Hiro in his bed. She got confused and a little scared when she saw it empty. She was going to call his name, when she heard soft snores coming from behind Tadashi's divider. Aunt Cass pushed it open and smiled at what she saw. Her two little men, both asleep. Tadashi's arms wrapped protectively around Hiro. Aunt Cass's smile only got bigger as she took out her phone and snapped a picture, sending it to Honey Lemon. She's going to love this.
