One of my many Creative Writing, "Open Response's". This time it was like classical music, sort of, I can't member considering that it was Monday and I was half asleep. But this is something very short that I thought of.

I sighed as I snuggled closer into Robin's chest, it was storming outside and I fear them. I did not grow up with thunderstorms on my planet, the loud "boom" and flashes of light frightened me and only our leader, Robin, knew of this. His arms were wrapped around my waist, his right hand running through my ruby red hair.
I was so grateful to have him, he kept my secrets and comforted me when I needed him. He even explained Earth's customs to me, even if they seemed obvious to others. A great "boom" erupted and shook the tower, I jumped slightly. Robin tightened his arms around me and whispered soothing words into my ear.
My hands fisted his red wife beater. The taps of the rain hitting the tower was heard. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to my best to fall asleep. Robin was still running his fingers through my hair, but I noticed that he was now humming. I took a deep breath and concentrated on the tune and tried to go to sleep.
My eyes fluttered close once again and I could feel sleep coming. Once I was almost asleep I felt the softness of lips being pressed against my forehead and those three words, that I love to hear, were whispered into my ear. I smiled and fell fast asleep, still in his arms.
I told you it was short. I've always wondered what Star's look on thunderstorms were. I wrote another story where Starfire actually finds them fascinating. So two different looks on it.
