She walked through the doors of the London pub, turning the heads of the people nearby. She strolled up to the bar.

"Whiskey, neat."

The bartender looked at her intently,

"ID?"

The girl leaned forward on the bar, her low cut top revealing her cleavage,

"I don't have it on my but you can trust me." She said with a sly smile. The bartender sighed, turning around to poor the drink.

"Nice trick, us commonfolk have to rely on good old fashioned fake ID's." The stranger next to her was facing her way.

"Well then get a boob job." She said dismissively, not looking his way. He chuckled softly as the girl's drink arrived.

"So, are you gonna tell me your name or what?" he asked.

"You never asked for it."

"Well I'm asking now."

"Tash"

"I'm Sirius. Are you gonna drink that?"

She looked at him and back at the glass of whiskey, then took a sip.

"Happy?" Tash looked at him.

"Quite. So where are you from, your accent sounds British but not really…?"

"Australia. I moved here from Sydney a month ago with my dad. The weather's better but changing school is a drag."

"The weather's nicer? Are you crazy?"

"Quite possibly but my dad and I both love cold weather so to us the weather is better." She took another sip of whiskey.

"Fair enough then… Hey, you should come and sit with my mates, they're pretty decent guys."

"Fuck, why not then."

She downed her drink and the pair got up and headed over to the table where three other boys were sitting.

"Hang on a sec." Tash said

Tash headed back over to the bar.

"Can I get five beers please?" she looked around to look at Sirius' table to see Sirius looking back at her, she turned back around to pick up the tray of drinks and carry it over.

"Hey boys, drink up." Tash set the drinks down and sat down.

"Ooh, Sirius, I like her, she buys drinks." One of the boys spoke then looked over to Tash, "I'm James, I like beer."

"I'm Tash, I too like beer." They lifted their glasses and clinked them together, then took a gulp.

"And you are?" Tash asked looking at the others.

"Remus, thanks for the beer."

"I'm Peter"

"Well it's nice to meet you all, I don't really have any friends here yet, I've been too busy unpacking and organising school things."

"Well new friends are always great but we all go to a boarding school and aren't always here for holidays." Remus told her.

"Yeah I get you, I'm actually going to one too," she chuckled, "maybe it's the same one."

The four boys shared a look.

"Probably not, we go to a pretty selective school." James said.

"Wow, you pretentious fuckwits, I can get into a selective school, I'm not a fuckin' drongo ya cunt."

The boys stared at Tash in shock.

"What's a drongo?" Peter asked.

"Idiot" Tash responded.

"I am not!" Peter retorted.

"Nah, that's what it means shithead." She said

"Wow, it's true, Australians do swear a lot…" Sirius said.

"Aw sorry sweetheart, I'll try to tone it down." Tash looked down at her watch and put on a posh English accent, "Oh golly, is that the time. I had better get going then lads, cheerio!" She got out some money to cover the drinks and left it on the table along with a card with her phone number on it. "Bye boys."

She walked confidently out of the bar, winking at the bartender on her way out.
