Ron supposed most people wouldn't think of them as happy. They were too different for them to truly be, too challenging to last.

He supposed that was true, but it strangely wasn't. He and Pansy were messy and complicated and there was hardly a dull moment with them, but they loved each other. Ron knew that was well as he knew himself. She brought out a sense of confidence in him that he had never felt before, and he wondered what he brought out in her.

He had a feeling it was a sense of peace, a feeling like she belonged in this world.

They weren't perfect. Sometimes there were fights went long into the night, fights that left feeling empty that throbbed with an aching pain until they were together again.

Their first kiss, their first time, their first everything was brought with the feelings of passion and anger and love. Nothing else could ever satisfy them.

Except for each other.
