The car jumped and rolled as I drove into the gravel parking lot.
I needed to get out.
To get away from the hospital for a few hours.
The waiting was killing me.
Watching him in that huge hospital bed.
He looked so small.
And it was all my fault.

And pray.
I needed to just get away for a few hours.
And try to shake the grief.
